Despite not being near the beach, this location was peaceful and quiet. You'll need Whatsapp or similar to communicate with hosts most of the time. I had the honeymoon suite with no one downstairs and a pool to myself so was nice and relaxing. Breakfasts were filling and delicious with a nice pot of coffee, good for a long day out. The road to the main beach road is steep so take water if you walk it. I had a large balcony with great view to the coast & of the surrounding hills. Hosts kept my beers well stocked which was welcome in the evening.
Having my first reservation cancelled & unable to find anything else suitable. This location was a surprisingly nice replacement & I realised I didn't really need the beach!!

The large veranda with
The view and the pool is delightful . It’s a beautiful traditional Indonesian house with gorgeous wood carvings and furniture. It’s a real treasure.
The house and gardens are in dire need of repair and TLC. The food was sometimes good and sometimes terrible and very very expensive. Wait times for sunset cocktail are up to an hour.
