Stay Rottnest

Super cool place to stay, me and my friend stayed in the 12 bed mixed dorm with only one other guy in the room so it was super quiet and chill! Easy check in and check out, it helped getting the luggage drop off and pick from the ferry, and I also recommend hiring a bike because the accom is quite far from everything!

It seemed like there was only one bathroom with a toilet which was fine for us as the accom was quiet but I could imagine it being hard to get into during peak season. Also the shower was cold which normally wouldn’t matter however the weather wasn’t that great and it was cold, so a cold shower on top of that kinda sucked. And it was super cold overnight as we’re only given one thin blanket and it seemed like there wasn’t any way to get some more. However, I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends!

Big spacious and quiet dormitory.

Only one bathroom for the block (more in others). Squeaky beds. Wish I had known to bring a padlock for the lockers.

Bed rooms were very clean

A sign to tell people there are more bathrooms across the car park

Support from staff, bus service on time.

Booking.com showed this accommodation as being close to the island entrance, but upon arrival I was informed that it was actually about 2 km away. The property was an old-style cottage, which felt quite isolated and unsettling at night. I appeared to be the only guest staying in the entire building, which made the experience even less comfortable. The photos on the website and app mainly showed the beds and rooms, with very little information or imagery of the surrounding facilities, common areas, or the property's actual location. This made the accommodation feel quite different from what I expected based on the listing. I would strongly recommend providing the exact location and more comprehensive photos so guests can make an informed decision before booking. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations, and overall I was disappointed with the stay.
