Bled Home

Bled Home is a spacious house with plenty of room, which made the stay comfortable. It is a good option if you are looking for a calm base near Bled and you have a car to explore the area.

The atmosphere in the house felt a bit impersonal and not very cosy. It is also good to know that the property is outside Bled, so having a car is important; the road is not very pleasant to walk along, especially in the dark. The wellness facility is mentioned online, but it is not actually available in the apartment, which was disappointing.

it is a spacious and fully equipped ground floor apartment in a village next to Bled.

it is not a baby friendly place which is our fault not to have thought of better beforehand. The floor was cold inside due to the thick old walls which cooled the apartment down but in front of the entrance there was a small sitting area which was fully paved and it got extremely hot in June when we visited so our baby could not crawl either inside (too cold) nor outside (boiling hot pavement).

Super große Ferienwohnung. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad, dazu ein Wohnbereich mit Esstisch, eine Küche und ein Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine. Darüber hinaus waren Verbrauchsmaterialien wie Duschbad, Toilettenpapier, Geschirrspültabs, Waschmittel usw. in großem Umfang vorhanden. Kostenfreies W-LAN, super Parkplatz. Hier hat echt alles gestimmt! Oskar, der super freundliche Gastgeber war immer ansprechbar. Wir hätten sogar eine Runde Tischtennis mit ihm spielen können, das hat aber aufgrund der Fülle an Urlaubserlebnissen in dieser wunderschönen Region gar nicht mehr in unseren Zeitplan gepasst.

Regular contact with host by email after landing at Ljubljana as we were arriving after 8pm to make sure we were on track Neighbour helped us find the location (it was dark and snowing) and met us, opened up and showed us around

We found it hard to find - with better knowledge of the location I would travel into Bled (from Ljubljana and A2) and back out again
