Balver Luxury Apartments

We had a wonderful stay with my family there. The apartment was very spacious, sparking clean and everything was well thought of. Mariana (the owner) was very welcoming and we even had a cleaning half way through our stay which was a pleasant surprise.

I would only recommend adding some more lighting in the living room as it's quite dark when there is no sunlight :)

The property is very big, luxurious and spacious, the kitchen has everything you might need to prepare a meal, glasses, cups and everything is brand new and beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the living room is fabulous. There is enough storage and wardrobes for all the luggage. The two bathrooms are very good and the washing machine is a big help. The two balconies are amazing and big, everything is excellent, especially the view. Two of the bedrooms on the first floor have access to one of the balconies. The apartment is absolutely clean, the owners are very friendly, we had all we needed, including detergent and capsules for the dishwasher. They answered all of our requests and even gave us a bottle of their homemade wine. There is free parking under a tent next to the building which makes things very easy, considering that parking on the island is a challenge. The car was always hidden from the bright sun and was easy to access. The apartment leaves a very nice and cosy feeling.

L appartamento è molto bello, tutto nuovo e molto pulito, dotato di tutti gli accessori. Ottima posizione, a circa mezz'ora di macchina dall aeroporto di Preveza, 5 minuti di macchina dal centro di Leucada e 10/15 minuti da Nidri. Molto bello il terrazzo da vivere però solo in tarda serata a causa del forte sole che batte tutto il giorno. Nelle vicinanze ci sono delle spiaggette facilmente accessibili e molto carine, consiglio quella di Pasha. Ci sono poi nelle vicinanze supermercati e altri servizi.

Per accedere all appartamento c è un primo portone ed una scala (abbastanza ripida non accessibile a persone con disabilità motorie), poi dopo si arriva al portone di casa. Ci è stata consegnata una sola chiave del portone appartamento, mentre l altra chiave che apre il primo portone è attaccata ad una stringa che si inserisce per l accensione elettricità ( non si può staccare). Ebbene quindi se qualcuno vuole uscire e qualcun altro restare in casa, la scelta è la seguente: chi resta in casa o resta al buio oppure quando chi è uscito rientra, deve scendere giù ad aprire il portoncino... Questo è un vero disagio.... E purtroppo quando siamo ripartiti alle 5 del mattino, come sempre facciamo nelle case vacanza, abbiamo lasciato le chiavi sul tavolo, non ricordandoci che il portone giù dalle scale si apre anche dall interno solo con le chiavi, e siamo rimasti bloccati...unica soluzione che abbiamo potuto adottare al momento (in quanto avevamo l aereo) è stato svegliare gli ospiti dell appartamento accanto e aprire il portone con le loro chiavi....sono stati gentilissimi e cordiali...però non è bello essere svegliati a quell ora. Sistema delle chiavi da rivedere.
