About this farm stay rental
Farm with about 1 hectare, housing with modern architecture and exquisite finishes, 4 bedrooms (1 en suite), 3 WC, living room (seating for 10 people), dining room (table with 16 seats) and kitchen (all equipped). Furnished simply but very functional and with quality. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden consisting of a large pool totally private and in complete privacy. Farm fully fenced with a large orchard where it is possible to make pleasant walks. Football pitch in natural grass, garage for four cars. The farm has a permanent front desk service for guests' convenience with laundry and in-house car hire.
Situated in Vilarinho, Valdosende, beautiful views of the mountain's natural landscape, 15 KM from Rio Caldo Marina and river beach, 20 km from Sanctuary of S. Bento, 20 km from Gerês Thermal Baths, 20 km from Caldelas Thermal Baths, about 5 km from the Roman Way (geira), about 2 km to Our Lady of the Abbey (Mariano Temple of the oldest in Portugal), Park framing area natural Peneda Gerês, very quiet.
Good access to the north of Spain (40 Km), near Braga (29 Km).

Belle maison année 80 remise progressivement au gout du jour, patio très utile pour manger dehors, le propriétaire est agréable le fils habite dans la petite maison et assure la conciergerie en cas de besoin : mais discret. Le seul gros point noir : les cinq chiens présents dans un chenil dans la propriété qui hurlent dés que quelqu'un s'approche du grillage de la rue, la journée, le soir et la nuit par moment. A voir donc au moment de la réservation car ils doivent déplacer les chiens dans une autre propriété. De bons conseils pour les petits restaurants et les cascades à proximité.

Quinta Geres is a beautiful property with lots of space and beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful week holiday. We were pleasantly surprised to find out the swimming pool was a salt water pool, and not chlorine.
We did however struggle a little with 4 young children (the oldest being 4) and the balcony upstairs not being a safe place for them due to the big gaps inbetween the rails, and would have found it much easier to use the garden if the fence dividing the garden was more than just a rope to stop them going down the steep bank. Quinta Geres info on this site says a whirlpool bath and a hot tub. There was no hot tub but there was a small whirlpool bath.
If you are looking at this property for a relaxing place to stay and space for upto 10 people then I would really recommend it.
