The property will have an outdoor swimming pool from March 1, 2016.
The House of Bellavista is located on the northeast coast of the island of São Miguel in the Azores.
Away from the hustle and bustle own the big cities, the environment of peace and tranquility invites you to rest and reading. Enjoy a soothing rest, listening to the sounds of nature and having the pleasure of waking up with the soft chirping of birds.
In the house, the large outdoor spaces provide a unique landscape of sea and mountain where the lush green of the earth joins the pure blue of the sky and the sea.
Of the island, is the most lavish area sights, peaks, waterfalls and hiking trails. You can climb the peak stick with its 1105 meters of altitude, tour the saw Tronqueira or know the natural habitat of the most endangered bird species and more rare in Europe - the Priolo. Sea lovers can bathe in the cool waters of the beach of "Lombo Gordo" or the pool of the mouth of the river, bathing area located 4 km from this site. The sea is calm and the water is pure and crystalline.

What an exquisite home. Spacious, clean, and a view to die for. The owner was responsive. The goodies were unexpected and a great touch. I would absolutely stay there again.

If youre looking for modern conveniences in a peaceful, quiet setting with amazing views, then look no further. Mario and Marcilia are terrific hosts and have turned an old rustic, traditional Azorean house into a modern home that beautifully incorporates the old with the new. You can see the ocean, meadows, mountains, and village of Lomba Da Fazenda while sitting in a chair on the balcony. There is easy access by car to the house and the main road that circles the island. A nearby grocery store makes it convenient to pick up items as needed. We didnt use the pool because the weather was too cool for us to swim but its a nice pool. We felt very safe at the house and in the area. The house is clean and it was nice having a washing machine so we didnt have to bring large pieces of luggage. We spent the mornings and most of the day visiting different parts of the island and our evenings at the house. We enjoyed being able to use the grill and induction stove to cook dinners. Internet service was really good so we could check in if we felt like it. You do have to walk up stairs to get to the main living space which wasnt an issue for us but could be for others. Two or three couples could rent the house together and find space for privacy if/when needed. The house has a lovely fireplace in the living room. There are cows and horses in the meadows surrounding the house but most of the land is used for producing hay so it was quiet. If you havent visited Sao Miguel, you will be surprised by how much there is to see even though its a small island.
