About this apartment rental

Completely renovated in May 2012, the apartment is equipped with new facilities and equipment (kitchen, bathroom, lounge) and attention to detail. It is located on the ground floor of a '40 years' building. It 's very bright, quiet and peaceful as it completely overlooks the inner courtyard full of flowers, plants and a fish tank.

Designed for max 4 people, the living room in wooden floor is equipped with a sofa bed (140x200) and a loft bed (160x200), satellite TV, unlimited wifi access.
The kitchen with attention to detail, has all the comforts: induction cooker, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, etc..
The bathroom with a spa design has a toilet, washbasin in natural stone and large walk-in shower and comfortable to relax

Transport & Metro
From the apartment you have access to as many as 3 subway stations: Dupleix (50 meters), Champs de Mars - Eiffel Tower (200m) and La Motte Piquet-Grenelle (400m).
Otherwise, for an unusual but original city tour, we recommend renting Vélib bikes, provided by the city of Paris, at super-reduced prices. The nearest Vélib station is at 50 meters.

Metro & Bus
From 'Dupleix' there is line 6, which leads to Charles de Gaulle-Etoile (Arc de Triomphe, Champs Champes, etc.) Trocadero, Montparnasse (Montparnasse Tower) Denfer-Rocheraou (trains to/from Orly airport) 'Place d'Italie' and Nation.

From 'Champs de Mars-Tour Eiffel', there is the RER C, which leads to the station 'Orsay Museum', Saint-Michel (Latin Quarter) City (Notre Dame Church and Ile de la Cité) Versailles (Versailles Castle) Austerlitz station (trains from/to the South of France and Spain)

From 'La Motte Picquet - Grenelle' there is line 8, which leads to the Invalides (Napoleon's tomb), Concorde (Place de la Concorde, Tuileries Gardens, Louvre) and Opera (Opera de Paris and the Galerie La Fayette)

The 'bus 42' with a stop just up the road, takes you to the Champ de Mars / Tour Eiffel, the Pont de l'Alma (rather infamous for the death of Princess Diana) to Champs Elysees, Concorde, the Opera and the Gare du Nord (trains from/to Charles de Gaulle Airport)

The house is nothing like the photos. Do not stay here if you are not able to climb a ladder to get into bed. My sister and I thought we were renting a place with a couch and a bed. We had no idea the bed was reached by a rickety scary ladder.

This is a very conveniently located little apartment. The Metro is just steps away, yet the apartment, facing into a courtyard, is quite quiet. Shopping, laundry, cafés, the Seine and Eiffel Tower are all easily accessible. The apartment itself feels bigger than it appears, with a smart arrangement. We were very comfortable and happy here for our month long visit to Paris

We stayed in this apartment for 1 month. The positives: Great communication with the host Excellent location - close to metro and bus, huge supermarket nearby, huge food market every Wednesday and Sunday, several bakeries and other shops nearby. Easy check-in - check-out. Fully equipped kitchen including expresso machine. Some negatives, I hope owner addresses some of them. The apartment is very small, it was ok for two of us, but that probably reflected in price. While apartment was clean, we did not like how bedding was given. Both sheets and pillowcases were not ironed and did not feel fresh. Towels was ok. Shower door was leaking. Overall, it's a good stay for the money.

I stayed for a month and got a discount. The host and staff are wonderful. They answered all my questions. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The beds are comfortable. The shower is very nice, there is a room heater in the bathroom. There are laundry mats and grocery stores in almost every direction. Rue de Lourmel is 1 block away, has specialty food stores to make a gourmet meal. Duplex metro station is across the street. Use the metro and you can get anywhere in the city in less than 30 minutes. 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and river. Point de Bir-Hakeim on the river is one of the most beautiful areas along the river. Wednesdays and Sundays, pop-up market across the street at Duplex metro station is one of the best in the city. I felt like I was living in a neighborhood. Area is so centrally located to the city but not touristy. This place was a dream.

The flat is located half a block from a Metro station in a little neighborhood with EVERYTHING you could need. Lots of cafes, bakeries, pharmacies, little markets, fresh food shops and a laundromat. It was a quiet condo building with all the conveniences. We highly recommend this flat!

We were especially pleased with the location of the apartment. It is so accessible to the metro, bakeries, restaurants, groceries, and other shops. We liked the energy in the morning of the people and families hustling to work and school. On Sunday, we happened into the market across the street and it was superb. Our hosts were also very good and helpful. Yves met us upon arrival and departure and was very pleasant. Paolo and Anthea communicated starting a couple weeks before our arrival to be sure everything was in order. They provided useful information on transportation options from the airport that saved us from being tricked into getting a non-profit flat rate taxi. (Beware of those guys at the airport!) Anthea also helped us tremendously one day during our stay when we encountered our RER station was closed. Via WhatsApp, she helped sort out our best option and we were back on our way to Versailles. Being on ground floor, the apartment is very accessible. It is very small as we expected. I would say too small for 3 people and luggage. It was fine for us mostly because we had lovely weather and were there very little. It is definitely more suited for one or two people with not much luggage. In general, the apartment needs some love and the photos presented on VRBO are not representative of its current condition. The bathroom being the area of biggest need. There is quite alot of mildew making an unpleasant smell and feeling of it not being clean. A couple floor tiles are loose from water intrusion. There were some other issues that didn't greatly affect our stay but could greatly improve someone else's stay if they are addressed: The fireplace doesn't work as far as we could figure out which wasn't much of an issue. We were provided a plug-in electric heater which worked well but contributed to feeling a bit more cramped. The hairdryer blows only cold air, the towels were rough, and wall hooks to hang coats would be useful. Finally, there was some construction occurring in the store front adjacent to the apartment. It was only during the day but it made it impossible to return for a nap or quiet lunch. Luckily, we had great weather and could be away all day. This is most likely a short-term issue and will be resolved when the store renovation is completed.

Fantastic place for our Paris Trip. The owners and Yves were fantastic to deal with. The apartment is so close to the Metro and within walking distance of so many landmarks. Ideal for restaurants close by, as well as a grocery store, bakeries, cheese shop, meat shop and wine. There is a Market twice a week basically at your doorstep, with tons of offerings. The owners were very helpful in recommending how best to get to the apartment. They also provided us with information on what wonderful sites and experiences to see and do, and this was our 5th trip to Paris. They recommended some weekend stuff to do and where to go to relax, bring a picnic (wine and cheese) and act like Parisians do. They even provided me with a contact number via the Whatsup App so we could communicate, and I could use wifi to save on costs. The place is very cozy so if space is something you need this might not be what you’re looking for. However, for us it was almost perfect, the location could not have been better. The courtyard worked great to enjoy a French wine and do our daily updates from a day’s touring. Based on price, location, the owners and Yves we would definitely stay there again. It was a totally wonderful experience.

Anthea and Paolo went out of there way to help us on our visit to Paris - maintaining contact with us before, during, and after our stay. The location of the flat was perfect for us and it was quiet and welcoming. Two fans in the unit helped take the edge off the Paris summer heat. The kitchen was well equipped for making simple meals and the bed was comfortable. Mercie beaucoup et mille grazie!

This rental is beautifully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the front door is a bonus! It is perfectly located near all you could possibly need public transportation, food store, restaurants and even a laundromat. Best of all, the hosts have a binder they created in several languages with information for all you could need access to and distances. We also got a friendly visit via the kitchen window from Gaia, a lovely Great Dane that was sweet as pie. If Paris is your destination, this rental needs to be your home while there!

Due to the train strike we arrived 8 hours late at around 10 pm but instructions how to access the unit was excellent. Unit was small but clean and well equiped and everything that was promised. On first impression it was smaller than we originally thought but it was perfect for my husband and I. The location was amazing; 15-20 mins walk to Eiffel Tower and less than 5 mins walk to the nearest Metro station. We were very comfortable in this cozy little flat and looked forward to coming back to it at the end of a day of sightseeing. The owners were very helpful in getting in touch and sharing information regarding the flat, transportation and Paris in general weeks before our trip. We highly recommend this place!

My husband and I were first time Paris visitors. This location was directly next to the Metro 6 which can get you anywhere around Paris should you have walked more then you could. You can easily walk to th Eiffel Tower in just minutes. Or the Seine River just up the street is an easy visit. Staying at this place made for a exceptional authentic experience living in a building of local residents. We had the time of our lives. We were able to actually take home leftovers of the delicious dinners out. I haven’t even gotten to the amount of cafes where you can sit and enjoy a meal or coffee while people watching and taking in the day to day life.

Such a cute apartment in a great neighbourhood. It is fantastic for one person max of two. Even with two people I would be stepping on someone’s feet. Very clean, but needs a bit of updating. Shower was broken (spraying water), mirror cracked, bed railing wobbly. However with those minor things aside I had a very present stay. I would stay again if I came back to pairs!

We could not have asked for a better home away from home on our recent trip to Paris. There were three of us and we never felt cramped or like they were small quarters. It was the perfect size and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was perfect for late afternoon snacks and breakfasts, which helped us save money on food. The location was perfect, very accessible via train to Versailles and an easy transfer on the metro to the city center. Paolo and Anthea were such gracious hosts and we are so grateful for them for renting their Paris flat to us! We will certainly be back!

Fantastic! Although small; it was in a great location. And despite its size, for two this is all you need! It's in close proximity to bakeries, restaurants, markets and of course the Eiffel Tower; which we found ourselves lucky to have such a short walk to. From the front door to the Eiffel grounds is only five minutes. No need for buses or taxis, the Love Nest is also near the Arc de Triomphe and the river. If you do need the metro, it's literally right across the street, and there is a taxi station near by. The Love Nest proves to be clean, updated and includes many kitchen necessities such as a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and oven. The owners were also nice enough to leave a full can of sugar, salt, olive oil and many essentials for washing the dishes. The electronics are very useful- you can play music from your IPod through the television, and the unlimited international telephone calls were very useful as this was our first time to Europe and our family at home wanted to stay in close touch. The bathroom is fully updated, the bed is comfortable and there is plenty of room for two to sit with a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the morning before embarking on your journey for the day. We were pleased to find a lovely terrace to sit on all day, surrounded by friendly neighbours and flowers. It was a nice hidden spot to escape to after a full day spent in the bustling city. The owners were polite, respectful and very understanding when we needed to come a few days after our initial arrival. They were very informative and a few days into the trip informed us of a music festival in the city that weekend- something we wouldn't have known otherwise! The only complaint we both had was the absence of a clothing washer, however there is a laundry mat right down the street so our worries were put to rest. All in all we were extremely pleased with our stay and would definitely consider it again when planning a trip in Paris. I would recommend this to any couplet who is looking for a cozy, affordable apartment to rent in the best area of the city!

This modern stylish and surprisingly spacious apartment had it all! Everything about this place was perfect from the price to the location and the owner. Plenty of cafes and supermarkets on your door step. Even a wonderful street market on Sundays. Within easy walking distance of all major attractions. Also within a minute walk to metro station. Beautifully updated apartment only a block from the metro and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler. This charming apartment has recently been updated including all appliances, the bathroom and the living area. Super clean and very comfortable. Loved the free Wifi and phone which allowed us to confirm our travel plans. The beautiful faux fireplace/heater was a welcome feature since it was cool and rainy during our stay. The apartment is in a residential area and we felt very comfortable walking to the cafes and bistros later in the evening. Would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a quiet retreat while visiting Paris. Thanks to Paul and Anthea for being such gracious hosts!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. The location was super as it was close to the train and this made getting around Paris very simple. It is literally a 6-10 minute walk to the Eiffel tower. Recommend you get the train tickets at 10 for 13 euro. this made our journey super easy. The apt is big enough for two people and very elegant. We felt as if we lived in Paris with our stay here. Sunday is the street market and they have everything you would need to make meals. They also sell all the Souvenirs you could need. There are great shops all in walking distance. Landlords very friendly and very helpful with pamphlets of how to get to places in a easily reading packet at the apt.. There is also a really great cafe across the street called, La Cantine du Troquet the staff are great and the menu is priced at decent rate. All and all well worth the money we spent.

This apartment rental is exactly as advertised. It was a perfect haven -- clean, comfortable, modern, and beautifully located. I especially liked the loft bed -- very comfortable. Paolo was so helpful and was prompt and careful with all his interactions with us. The metro stop right by the apt is perfectly placed to go to any major attraction - and of course the Eiffel Tower is very close by. We didn't use the kitchen, but it is super cute and efficient. The shower is the piece de resistance! Beautiful and hot! I highly recommend this apartment to any visitor and have already given the contact info to my friends who may be visiting Paris.

My husband and I just got back last night from a wonderful 2 week European vacation get away. The first 4 days of our trip we spent in Paris and got the chance to stay at this lovely studio. It was perfect for the 2 of us. It was in a great location and the metro was less than a block away. There were tons of restaurants in the area and people were very friendly. We stayed here 4 nights and found it cozy and comfortable. Very well located for our exploration of Paris sights. Safe feeling neighborhood with restaurants very close by. It was very clean and we found it perfect for what we wanted to do, explore Paris and have a safe area to explore from. Paolo picked us up at the airport, but because of a snowstorm, had a very hard time getting there. He kept in constant communication though, and apologized for our delay. He even gave us an extra night for no charge for the inconvenience, which was not necessary, but very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again on future visits to Paris. We spent a lovely week in this apartment. It was clean and comfortable, perfect for a couple and has everything you need. The apartment is situated a couple of mins walk from a Metro station so it was really easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. It is in a good area with lots of shops and restaurants within easy reach. Although the area is busy, once you're inside the apartment it is quiet. Our emails were always answered promptly and Paolo and Anthea were most helpful answering all our questions. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Paris.

This apartment is perfect for a couple of people in Paris - it is cozy and well-equipped and we had an excellent stay here. I love the 15th as well, it's a great neighborhood and you can see the Eiffel Tower from out in front of the builiding! The only downside was the noise of people coming and going in the morning, since the apartment is on the ground floor. It was fine on the weekends but Monday morning it was really quite noisy. I would still highly recommend staying here and I'm sure we'll be back. A great deal for the price and Paulo was so patient with me with all of my questions, very quick to respond always, and extremely professional. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained, and the shower is AWESOME.

I stayed with my girlfriend here for 3 nights. The apartment has everything you need and more. With modern decor and modern appliances. A very clean apartment with a homely feel. We actually didnt want to leave!! The apartment is located 2 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, with supermarkets and restaurants all a stone throw away. Check In and Check out is easy with the help from Paolo, pointing out anything you need to know for your visit. Would definately recomend this apartment, and would stay here again next time I visit paris. Shaun & Danielle
