The hotel has only 16 rooms in total. Honestly, the hardware deserves more than a 10 out of 10. It is far beyond the four-star level shown on the booking platform. The room feels very new, with a great sense of quality and tasteful design. On a rainy day, you can simply stay in the room all day, have a little drink, enjoy some snacks, use the sauna, soak in the hot spring bath, and the day passes by very comfortably. The in-room bath amenities are also quite high-end, especially ORIGINATURE. I also really liked the Hisense refrigerator and the Laifen hair dryer in the room. Unlike the hair dryers in many traditional onsen hotels, this one actually dries your hair quickly. The restaurant uses good-quality ingredients, and my favorite dish was the abalone. The portions were also very generous. We could not finish everything every night, and when that happened, the staff would warmly offer to send the remaining food back to our room. That said, I would give the restaurant 9 out of 10. Among onsen hotels, it is above average, but there was nothing truly surprising or unforgettable. The service was also very good. The staff helped me deal with a taxi issue during the trip, even though it was not really their responsibility. In terms of transportation, the hotel has two nostalgic vintage cars to shuttle guests to and from the JR station. One night, when we urgently needed to go to FamilyMart after 9 p.m., they also arranged transportation for us. On our final day, when we were leaving Izu for Tokyo, we accidentally left a small bag in the hotel car, and a staff member even chased after us all the way to the JR platform to return it. Overall, this is an onsen hotel with impressive hardware, thoughtful service, and many memorable details.
