Ambience, high quality facilities and a unique solution to the coffee problem±

Ultra clean, new linen and very good shower. Very friendly. Lobby is designed as one big sitting area, drink bar restaurant, even live music! :) And the best innovative idea I have seen: Instead of coffee/tea/milk/ kettles in each room they have a permanent free coffee machine in the lobby! So clever! Great for guests (they get better coffee), great for them (far more economical, no mess in the rooms, no fiddling with little packets etc). Bravo!!!

Our dinner at the restaurant was very disappointing, very low quality items. It's a shame. The staff at reception tend to be a somewhat officious with some redtape rules -e.g. a copy of my passport on my phone should be enough, but they demanded to see the actual document !!!

Super for a family stay and very convenient for Chamonix

Super overall as always. Great for the children and comfortable and clean. Food was lovely and staff friendly.

The bar service on the Saturday night was abysmal. I waited 10 minutes to be served and then another 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. They were severely understaffed which was disappointing and poor planning. The air con in the rooms didn’t seem to work.

Clean, friendly for such a large busy place and a lobby to sit in so could meet other travelers/hikers. Appreciated being able to leave my bag for several hours after checkout without any charge.

Good location for starting or ending the Tour du Mont Blanc. Good breakfast. Room was clean but weird format, two levels with sloping roof and head hitting beams! Staff friendly.

Loud and busy front desk and lobby. Room had two levels, bed upstairs, bath and TV below, weird beams, steep steps. Easy to bang head!

Most enjoyable stay before TMB

The staff is super helpful. We got a great breakfast. We did the TMB and were able to store our luggage there for the duration of our hike. it is very busy but is an interesting place that we can recommend.

Very good breakfast - lots of variety and choice. Appreciated the nice seating areas for breakfast, and common areas at Rocky Pop. Laundry facilities are also on site (paid to use washer, dryer, and for a laundry pod). Room was a good size, with a good size washroom as well. Beautiful views, even from our room!

As RockyPop is in Les Houches, you are a little bit away from Chamonix town centre but it is very easy access with the bus (bus stop is literally outside) if you're looking to get into town.

Great location for family wedding. Lots of space, plenty of choice for dinner, comfortable room with fabulous view maintained daily. Staff very helpful. Water and hot drinks available 24 hours

Bar was closed until 4pm - would have liked the opportunity for a soft drink or beer lunchtime/afternoon.

Extremely comfortable, mid range “hommy” hotel

Amazing location , very cleverly built , small but extremely comfortable rooms, extremely clean and very nice facility ideas and very good quality breakfast along with very tasty good quality dinner.

The only thing that’s we can criticise are some receptionists that yet kind enough, not very helpful for us , as they ignore basic things of Chamonix highlights to practically facilitate our reservations and schedule. On a different note on the minor scale, I would make a comment on the same two types of cheese every morning that seems a bit boring, especially for a country with so large cheese tradition.

Great value for staying in the Chamonix area.

The hotel is very nicely decorated and has great public spaces. The room is very nice, clean and comfortable. The shower is good and everything we needed was provided. The hotel has a small kitchenet for the guests to use, lots of laundry machines and other services. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of selection for everybody.

Its about 25 minutes by bus from Chamoinx center. Bus comes every 30 min.

Too short! I really wish I had been able to stay and spend more time at RockyPop!!

I arrived at Rockypop and was immediately impressed with the appearance and atmosphere. Staff welcomed me and allocated me a room without fuss. I was shown where to find complimentary coffees and water and the entire checking in procedure was swift and efficient. On reaching my room I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality and cleanliness of the room. I ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both the meal and the continued splendid views of Mont Blanc

The rooms were clean and very quiet which was the most important thing for us. Breakfast was great and especially before walking the TMB.

The movie theme in the corridors made them very dark and gloomy.

Superb

Rocky pop was the most amazing hostel I've ever been. The price in my opinion totally suits the location and facilities. Also the breakfast was a great buffet with a variety of all kind of food, including sweets such as crossiant,different type of cakes, jam , hand made chocolate hazelnut cream, also bacon,(which was really tastety), different types of cheese and salami, along with fresh fruits ,juice and hot drinks. I'll most probably go back to stay there again soon! P.s: there are boiler in the shared area , also a big fridge and free coffee all the time. There is a foosball and snooker to play for free which are both supper cool.

The place is unique and affordable at the same time. Staff was super kind and helpful. Loved the postcards in the room. Sent one home from Chamonix. Beautiful touch!

The feeling of hallways was a bit like on a ship and navigation seemed a bit strange but you can get used to it. There we re quite some activities but no gym, would be grate to have one.
