I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The host was beyond amazing — “lovely” doesn’t even begin to describe how kind and helpful he was. He gave us fantastic recommendations and tips, and truly made our time there so special and memorable. The house itself was spectacular, with a spotless, spacious room and a very comfortable ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was simply wonderful. I really hope to come back in the future — this time with my future daughter, not son 😉 Hugs from Yolanda and the pregnant lady!

not recommend for those travelling on business or with limited mobility

In general it was ok you get what you see in the pics

I never received an invoice for my stay - although I asked for it when making the reservation, and after checking out. So not suitable for business travelers. The owner although trying hard to be nice, made us feel rather unwelcome on several occassions - it was a strange experience. On one hand one is invited to use the picnic area and kitchenette but there is no cutlery / dishes available and no sink to clean afterwards. The rooms don't lock, nor are equipped with a safe so leaving valueables in your room - at your own risk. You are expected to leave your shoes at the entrence so you better have your own slippers or be prepared to be offered some old, used ones.

Superb stay!

A wonderful, spacious, and cozy place with charming, original decor. The hospitality from the owner, Stephen, was truly amazing — warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. If you love animals, especially cats, this is definitely the place for you. There are a couple of lovely cats around, and they add such a homely, relaxing touch to the experience. Highly recommended!

The location is fantastic. The structure is suggestive and very quiet. You can breathe the air of home but above all what is truly out of the ordinary is the kindness, the availability, the sympathy and the enormous affection of the host. In addition to having hosted us, he was close to us in a moment of great difficulty helping us to solve a rather serious problem without asking anything in return. We will never forget it.

Un retour dans l'enfance... dans la baie

Accueillis par Stephen avec le sourire, la bonne humeur, les conseils et une sérénité qui aident au repos. Chambre avec vue sur le Mont Saint Michel (certes loin, mais quand même 😅), dans un cadre champêtre et accueillant. Petit déjeuner à la française tout en délicatesse avec des produits locaux et/ou faits maison. Calme total, intérieur décoré avec goût. A proximité de plusieurs lieux touristiques... Pour plus d'informations, prendre la peine de discuter avec votre hôte.

On cherche encore ce qu'on n'a pas apprécié... Stephen (et les chats, et la princesse, et votre fille), un seul mot... merci pour tout.

Ottimo soggiorno comodo a Mont-Saint-Michel

Posizione comodissima e molto vicina a Mont-Saint-Michel. Il b&b é ricavato in una vecchia scuola del villaggio, sapientemente ristrutturata e arredata con gusto dall'inglese Stephen. La camera è molto ampia, forse un po' calda con un bel bagno con doccia. Letto comodo. La colazione inclusa comprende the/caffè, succo di mela, pane tostato, burro, marmellate fatte in casa, frutta e un piccolo dolcino confezionato.

Dès votre arrivée Steph. vous met à l’aise avec une petite visite des lieux. Tout est beau,tout est pensé,et 5 mn après être entré dans cette ancienne école vous vous dites que votre séjour va être top. J’en dis pas trop pour vous laisser découvrir….

Agréable

Le propriétaire anglais est très sympathique et aime discuter. Il est présent lors de l'arrivée et durant le petit-déjeuner. Nous étions dans la suite familiale du haut qui est très grande. L'emplacement est parfait pour se rendre au Mont St Michel.

A cause du toit en pente typique de Normandie, la salle de bain n'est pas très bien agencée, nous n'arrivions pas à rester debout dans la baignoire.

Deliziosa tappa a Pontorson, verso Sant Michel

La struttura molto particolare, arredata con gusto e in modo originale. Giardino delizioso dove viene servita la colazione, ottima e con marmellate fatte da Stefano con amore.. Accoglienza calorosa ma discreta del proprietario che parla discretamente l'italiano. Molto simpatico e accogliente, ha prenotato per noi in un locale per la cena,dove ci siamo trovati bene. Alles durchweg positiv. Privat geführte Unterkunft mit einem überaus freundlichem und zuvokommendem Gastgeber. Ich hatte trotz des kurzen Aufenthaltes viel Spaß und ebenfalls wertvolle Tipps zur Umgebung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erhalten. Die Ausstattung war großartig mit einem ganz eigenen Charme. Das Zimmer mit Ausblick auf Mont-Saint Michel ist herrlich. Sogar ein frei begehbarer Garten mit Ruhemöglichkeit war vorhanden. Frühstückseier aus eigener Hühnerfarm ließ auch hier keinen Wunsch offen. Ist in jedem Fall eine Reise wert und würde wieder dort hin.

Todo!!!! Empezando por el edificio entero, y el entorno del patio interior (con todos sus animales) Nino (el perrito) fue un estupendo anfitrión, junto con un gatito gris (cuyo nombre no sabemos)... Bueno va!! Y Stephen, que es un encanto de persona y te hace sentir como en casa.

Por problemas de espacio, ya que la habitación estaba en las golfas, la bañera no permitía estar de pie.

L'accoglienza di Steven è fantastica. La camera è molto bella e accogliente, bagno spazioso, luminoso e con tutto il necessario..La disponibilità di tè e caffè gratuiti a tutte le ore, la buona colazione anche con prodotti fatti in casa come le marmellate. Ottima la posizione per visitare le Mont Saint Michel, la bassa Normandia e la Bretagna. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Séjourner à La Petite Ecole de la Baie est une valeur ajoutée incontestable à la visite du Mont-Saint-Michel 🤩 Le MUST de l'hébergement touristique 👍 L'originalité de cette ancienne école communale décorée et arrangée avec talent par Stephen tout en lui conservant son cachet originel est véritablement à découvrir. De l'accueil au petit-déjeuner en passant par le séjour, tout était parfait... aucune fausse note ! Nous l'avons dit et le répétons volontiers haut et fort : "STEPHEN, NE CHANGEZ RIEN, ni à ce que vous faites, ni à ce que vous êtes !" Mille Mercis
