The location is great if you want to explore the whole island and parking is right next to the house. The balcony is always a bonus for summer stays, although it has no particular view. The apartment was very clean. Bakery shop and groceries store are a few minutes walk-distance. In Mandre you also have a gas pump and a larger groceries store, and in Kolan which is right next to Mandre you have a cheese factory and shop.
Be aware that you don't get hand soap, dish detergent or cooking necessities (such as salt, pepper, oil, etc.), so prepare yourself to bring them with you or to buy them in local store. Towels for showering were initially not provided, but nicely given when asked for them, as well as hair drier.
