About this apartment rental
The apartment has been renovated in 2017 and receives a beautiful interior decoration with all the necessary comfort to feel at home and spend a wonderful stay in one of the most beautiful coves of the Costa Brava. The beach at 150m is certified "Blue Flag" for the quality of its water and its services.
Mini markets and grocery stores, hotels, beachfront restaurants, bars, bakeries and other small shops are all within a 300m radius.
Many water activities are proposed (boat rentals, kayaks, paddle, diving ...)
At 5km is the town of Palafrugell where there is a beautiful fruit / vegetable market, fish and meat every morning. Also there are hypermarkets, pharmacies, doctors, hospitals and other usual shops in the cities.
Located on the second floor of a small building, the apartment comprises an entrance hall, a living / dining room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, one of which is expandable to a double bed, a hall at night, a bathroom and a super equipped kitchen giving access to a small rear terrace. The distribution of the rooms is very well arranged, the living room and the room in front give on a beautiful terrace with a view on the hill and its pines.
The apartment is very bright.
It can also accommodate babies and young children with a cot, a booster seat, etc ...
In terms of equipment, the highlights of the apartment are: Air conditioning, unlimited WiFi connection, TV in the living room and bedrooms, Smart TV lounge 2500 TV channels, home cinema system and Bluetooth connection.
Excellent sound insulation (nights without being woken by the noise of the trash truck at dawn in the center :-)) and bedding of very good quality.
Parking in the building for a small car.

Close to the brach this apartment has everything that you need for a wonderful holiday, more suited to a family than four adult.

The main difference with this apartment and some others we have stayed in is that this very much feels like someone's second home rather than just a holiday let. A lot of love has clearly gone into the renovation and it is a comfortable, relaxing and very well presented place to stay.
Jean-Cristophe has probably been the most communicative and responsive host we've ever had and although only becoming a host recently has tried to think of everything - his instruction/info book is most comprehensive I have ever seen! Special mention also to Lex, a local property manager who helped us with check in/check out and provided us with loads of useful info about the area. You get the impression that between Jean-Cristophe and Lex no request would be ruled out and they will go the extra mile to try and accommodate which makes a huge difference especially when travelling with young children as we were.
The apartment is only a 2 minute stroll to the village centre and beach. Tamariu is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed although it was quite busy even towards the end of the season. When we found the beach too crowded we drove a short distance to Cala de Castell which is well worth a visit.
As with any apartment in a block, we had a bit of noise from other residents but nothing excessive and as advertised, the very solid doors do provide excellent sound insulation from the road outside. We didn't find the road especially noisy and enjoyed sitting on the balcony which is not overlooked by anyone and gazing out at the trees.
If you are looking for an apartment with character and charm in a wonderful location and with hosts that care about your wellbeing, this place is hard to beat.
