Villetta Pergole

We loved the peace and quiet, taking a break from the tourist hassle, cooking our own food and eating on the deck overlooking the sea and the Turkish Steps. The sea breeze kept the place cool 2/3 nights, on the last night we needed to use the fan - there is no air-conditioning. It was great to have the use of a kitchen and a washing machine. Half an hour from Valley of the Temples and 12 minutes to the Turkish Steps. You need a car to access this place and can drive to a number of beaches to swim.

There was no Wifi and no sofa.

Excellent place for people whishing to stay away from crowds. Beautiful landscape and sea views and possibility to observe clear night sky and stars (if you switch off the garden light). Nice sandy beaches nearby (though, it is necessary to use a car unless you want to climb 1-2 km in heat on the way back home). Conveniet to explore SW Sicily

There is no AC in the house and the available fans were far insufficient during the hot nights, the bed mattress was too soft for us and the kitchen tableware and cutlery could have been a bit more diversified. The shower handle was damaged so it really was difficult to have a proper shower.

The villa is on the top of a hill. There is an amazing view. The outdoor facilities of the villa are great. Great beaches - you have to pay for parking at most of them. There is no air conditioning but you don’t need it as the villa is on the top of a hill and you can get a nice breeze through the house if you open the windows (which have mosquitonets and bars). The host is very helpful - you can ask him anything.
