Babilla Suites

The property felt very homely, welcoming, and comfortable—more like staying in a lovely Airbnb than in a conventional hotel. It is located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood and was very close to the university where I was attending a conference, which was exactly what I needed. It is also within walking distance of several shops and supermarkets, and the surrounding neighborhood is very pleasant to walk around. The owner, Jorge, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. At one point, I left a pouch in an Uber and could not contact the driver because I did not have a Colombian SIM card. Jorge went out of his way to help me through the process and was always available on WhatsApp whenever I needed anything. Milena, the housekeeper, was also wonderful. Even though we did not speak the same language, communication was never a problem. She prepared a lovely breakfast every morning with fresh tropical fruits. One of my favorite parts of the property was the beautiful garden, with mango and banana trees and some very cute cats. Starting the day with breakfast in the garden was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The rooms are very spacious, with a large balcony, a big bathroom, and plenty of room to feel comfortable. Overall, my stay was extremely pleasant and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property, especially to anyone who wants to stay near the university in a quiet and welcoming environment.
