Uncomfortable stay due to aggressive host and lack of basic supplies

Our stay at Ferienwohnungen Reinalter in Ischgl was very disappointing due to multiple issues and the host’s behavior. Before arriving, we confirmed that an electric grill would be available, but it was not. Instead, we were given a sandwich maker to cook meat on. The host later claimed she traveled three hours to get the grill, even though it had been confirmed as available long before our arrival. She also promised a small schnapps (snaps), but this never arrived. The apartment had no basic supplies at all—no salt, pepper, tea, detergent, napkins, or cleaning products—and we had to buy almost everything ourselves, including extra toilet paper. During our 5-day stay, no cleaning was done, towels were never changed, heating was turned off every night, and the outside lighting did not work. In one room, the radiator was even turned off after an earlier incident with the host. To make matters worse, we found fleas in the apartment, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. A small accident occurred when a bottle of oil near a window hinge spilled. Nothing was broken, and we immediately offered to pay for cleaning. However, the host reacted by shouting aggressively, slamming doors, and threatening to throw us out, saying she would report us on Booking and never host “people like us” again. We felt humiliated and extremely uncomfortable when the host started shouting at us. Overall, the stay was made very uncomfortable by the hostile and unprofessional behavior, lack of promised or basic amenities, and cleanliness issues. I would recommend future guests to clarify all amenities and expectations in writing before arrival.

Truly wonderful hosts and extraordinary hospitality. Sunny terrace with mountain views. Rural quietness, away from main tourist flows in bad ischgl etc. Good bedrooms.

Kitchen/living somewhat small. No washing machine.
