About this apartment rental
As part of a 16th century cottage in the centre of Shere our accommodation offers a perfect base for a few days in the country. If you've seen the film 'Holiday' with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law you will recognise our house ! Completely self contained and with separate access you can come and go as you please. Use the south facing private terrace for outside eating, sipping an evening gin and tonic, or just sun bathing. Everything is to the highest standard.
There is a main bedroom ; a second bedroom with sofa bed ; a sitting room with a sofa bed and TV ; a fully equipped kitchen ; and finally a private family bathroom offering a shower and bath.
There is easy parking outside in The Square and private parking at weekends.
Two mountain bikes are available for hire - £10 per day each

Immaculate accommodation, excellent host. Staying at Vaughan’s of Shere BnB has been a highlight of our visit to the UK. The village is so quaint, and the accommodation is at the heart of the village square. The host was extremely welcoming and accommodated our special needs. The continental breakfast included with our stay was lovely; and included healthy choices not found in many other places we’ve stayed at. The furnishings have a homely feel; with some lovely watercolour anrtworks and historic pieces to admire. The rooms are clean, the linen is crisp. If you get a sunny day, take the time to relish the private tiered garden and courtyards - all South-facing, for extra sunlight. The rooms are cosy and warm; and is a place you’ll feel immediately at home. A minor caution; there are several steps, which is part of the centuries-old charm, and some don’t have hand rails - which may be a factor for some guests. But the overall appeal deserves 5-stars on any rating scale.

We loved this place, very cosy, spacious, clean and tidy. Good location for a walk seeing the countryside and lovely pubs in the area and 20 minutes away by car to Guildford shopping centre. Host were so accommodating and lovely.We would love to visit here again. 5 star!
