The property is so beautiful, they keep the grounds so lovely and set into the wonderful views all around. It’s peaceful and full of wildlife to set the scene. The room itself is spacious, tidy and the little porch with seating is the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing.
In the afternoon the sun got quit harsh and couldn’t always sit on the porch. However, they only way to combat that would be a retractable blind but they would take away from the lovely views.

Lovely natural surroundings in nature. very peaceful, no kids and an easy walk into town
A little outdated compared to places I would normally stay

Wonderful views, quiet location and friendly wildlife to watch while relaxing on the verandah. The Grampian walk books provided in the cabins were so useful in planning our days. Location wonderful as is also a short walk into the town centre.
Solar lights add to the atmosphere at night but some do need replacing ie the step lights
