Great time in Thassos

This was our first time travelling to Thassos. We loved every second of it. Staying in Villa Anna was also very comfortable and practical. It was just nearby the city centre and popular restaurants and supermarkets were also in the walking distance. We went to the popular beaches by car and generally it took 20-25 mins to get there. House owner was the nicest host I’ve ever had. He gave us the best recommendations and none of them dissapointed. It was so easy to communicate even after checking in. It felt like we were staying over at a friend’s. There are all the necessary equipments you need like hairdryer, washing mashine, kettle etc. Our favorite part of the house was definitely the little private garden where you can relax after the day. All together the vacation was amazing and i would definitely recommend this place and revisit in the future. Special thanks to our lovely host.

I can’t thank enough to the Dimitri. He was absolutely the best. We really felt so safe while our stay at Thassos. He just felt like our uncle and he helped us whenever we need. This is my first review at Booking.com and well deserved! Super clean rooms and facilities. The location was absolutely perfect, we were close to the center, shops, restaurants and everything. Dimitris! He is one of the best hosts. So polite, reachable always, and willing to help to feel at home. He has many tips for visiting different areas. The apartment is near two big supermarkets and within walking distance of restaurants (up to 10 mins) and the city center (up to 15 mins with kids).

The room was a bit outdated but had all we need -however it certainly needs some renovation (beds could be comfier). Not that bad, but we were visiting better places for a similar money range.

The fact that it was close to everything.

Let's get back to our first day at Villa Anna. Unfortunately, the rental apartment we have booked was a huge mess. Since we have arrived I felt like something was wrong with this place and we realised that it actually is! In our front little garden of our apartment there was a lot of garbage: cigar butts, food packaging thrash, keys from beer cans and so on. Now, let's enter the apartment. We had a pretty big shock after checking the basic stuff there. The floor was so dirty, there was a lot of food crumbs including some cherry seeds and some grain of cat food I think. Of course, beside that there was a lot of dust on the ground. Nobody vacuumed the room before our arrival. It's not normal to go on a holiday and find it so dirty. It was a nightmare. Let's take a look at the kitchen and its equipment. The stove had grease stains. The coffee maker, the pans, the kettle were all in the same condition, full of dust and grease stains. The furniture's drawers had a lot of dust and sand, they were completely dirty, there was no place where I was able to put my clothes and so on. Same thing applies to the cabinets unfortunately. In the bathroom we've found mold! The bathroom equipment was rusty and dirty, so gross. One of the towels we've received had a yellow stain. I don't care if it was washed or not, but I can't admit this. A yellow stained towel. Before I contacted Booking’s customer service, I tried to have a conversation with the owner, Dimitrios. Apparently this is the best standard of cleanliness we can find in a rental apartment in Thassos, Greece. That he pays a guy to clean the rooms every 3 days and he is the best in Limenas and if he is going to tell him what we've found that guy will be mad. Inadmissible. I asked him to come with me so I could show him the apartment but he didn't want to.

The entire place has the best vibe. The host is the most welcoming and helpful person we’ve met in our trips. And on top of everything, wifi is above all expectation. We worked from the room, with video calls, without any issues.

L'accoglienza di Dimitrios è stata calorosa e precisa, la casa è fornita di tutto, ha una grande cucina ben fornita, il letto è davvero comodo, consente di riposare in maniera sublime. Il terrazzo è una chicca!È a pochissimi minuti dal porto, con pochi passi si è al centro, ma è anche in un ottima posizione per girare tutta la splendida isola. Davanti l'alloggio ha posto per l'auto. Dimitrios ci ha anche consigliato localini e ristoranti davvero ottimi! Inoltre ci ha fatti sentire a casa accogliendoci parlando Italiano! aslında rezervasyonda tek evde 2 ayrı yatak odası olarak seçmiştim ama tek bir oda olarak olduğunu girdiğimizde anladık :) adapte olduk ama 14 numaralı odayı seçecekseniz yekpare bir oda olduğunu göze almanız gerekir. bir oda da yatanlar diğer tarafta yatanları görmüyor ama sonuç olarak mahremiyeti sağlamak için banyo kullanmak zorunda kaldık. tabi bu menuniyetimizi düşürmedi. :)

În primul rand vreau sa încep cu gazda, este un om extraordinar și țin sa ii mulțumesc foarte mult pentru tot.Am fost cazați în apartamentul cu șemineu (3 adulți și 2 copii).Este foarte spațios și dotat cu absolut tot ceea ce ai nevoie exact ca acasa:aragaz și cuptor,combina frigorifica, cuptor cu microunde, cafetiera, airfryer,farfurii,pahare,tacâmuri etc.In living este un pat mare matrimonial și în partea de dormitor sunt 3 paturi de o persoana. Baia este foarte mare cu dus.Curatenia se face zilnic și de asemenea prosoapele se schimbau în fiecare zi.Acest apartament are și o gradina privata în care se iese din living și este dotata cu o masa mare și scaune,toată ziua este umbra și racoare datorita pomilor. Noi ne-am simțit foarte bine și cu siguranță vom reveni și la anul.

Bütün bunları kendisi teklif etti. Odada her şey düşünülmüştü. Ütü bile vardı. Havlularımız her gün değişti. Odamızın adı “lux 3 kişilik oda.” Üst katta olması sebebiyle geniş balkonundan her yere hakimdik. O bölgedeki tüm marketler hemen ayağınızın dibinde. Her şey harikaydı. Teşekkürler

Soggiorno molto piacevole!

Gentilezza ed estrema disponibilità del proprietario, pronto ad aiutarci davvero in ogni modo. Appartamento ben fornito (posate, piatti, tazze, fornello elettrico, ecc), in ottima posizione rispetto a ristoranti, supermercati, spiaggia, ecc e comunque in una zona molto tranquilla (almeno in primavera).

Bagno da ristrutturare parzialmente, camera abbastanza umida in quanto priva di finestre (e quindi anche di luce naturale). Letti comodi ma le lenzuola troppo corte rendevano il sonno meno gradevole (problema solo invernale).
