Lovely apartment, amazing hosts, beautiful island!

We stayed at this lovely apartment for four nights and had such a wonderful time. Lastovo island and town were beautiful, and we were so happy to have taken a chance on this "unknown" Croatian island! The apartment is situated just on the outskirts of the small town, overlooking the church tower and the green valley. The town dates back to the 12th century, and its stone buildings and streets mesmerized us with their beauty. The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring the narrow streets, just 5 minutes from the supermarket and the pathway down to two lovely bathing spots. It also offers a wonderful view and a private terrace of our own, where we could sit and enjoy breakfast and late nights viewing the night sky. The apartment has everything you could wish for, comfortable beds in calm and nice bedrooms, a nicely equipped kitchen, and it is wonderful for cooling down with the air conditioning. What stuck with us the most however, is our extremely nice and gracious hosts. The communication with them was super, they received us in such a manner that we felt included and welcomed by the lovely family! They were eager to let us experience their food, and they were utterly amazing cooks. The jams, candied fruits, cookies, and pizzas provided us with another facet of Lastovo life. Andriana drove us to a lovely site across the island and truly made us feel at home! They have also perfected the balance of being both generous hosts and giving their guests all the privacy and comforts we could wish for. We are so thankful to have met these people on our journey. We would love to come back and can recommend both Lastovo and this apartment to anyone who wants to experience a part of Croatia that is quieter and more untouched by tourists!

Ok accomodation in a town with few hotel options.

Difficult car access but town was in walking distance. Quaint ‘old Croatian style’ accomodation.

No credit card facilities which is a problem for travellers who don’t have easy bank access & don’t carry much cash.

Amazing stay in Lastovo

The room, kitchen and patio were all perfect. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and welcomed us with homemade fig grappa and candied nuts and orange zest. It’s a short 3-4 minute walk to the free parking in town, where there are shops and restaurants. And just a short drive or medium length hike to a great swimming area.

Fantastic hotel right in the centre of the Mostar labyrinth. The hotel staff were exceptional. Parking was just next door to the hotel for 12 euros per day

Just perfect!!

Perfect location with beautiful rural setting yet walkable to town - we walked all over and we think this was the best location! (Note they also can pick you up which is a great service) . Nice large bedrooms with porch area, tastefully decorated - loved the outdoor gardens! And Andrea and mrs. Marija were lovely and helpful owners. They prepared us meal at arrival and were very helpful about things on island. Be sure to buy local products in their place, everything is just perfect and you can’t go wrong. Definitely will come back on this magical island and lovely family!

Afordable and quiet stay in 100 years old appartment

1) This is very nice, old (~100 years) house with stunning view (located on the top of the town) 2) The family who runs the apartment lives downstairs is great: grandmother (Maria) helped us to cook Croatian Bakalar (Salted Cod), her daughter (Andrea) spoke good English and was a great source of various information, and her son (Gabriel, also good English) volunteered to be our local guide and showed as the village (where to eat, where to do hoping, what to see) 3) You can buy there home made marmalade, olive oil, wine, other alcohol, nuts, tomatoes and many more. 4) The whole town of Lastovo - we simply loved it. Very quiet but not totally empty 5) Nice terrace 6) There is air-condition (we did not use as we do not need) and Wi-Fi 7) Clean, everything worked as it should

Very nice stay with welcoming hosts. Located on the high edge of the city it offers magnificent views and beautiful walks through the old town with its romantic narrow paths and stone stairs. The room is cosy and location is very peaceful. Highly recommended!

The most charming place in a wonderful village

The hosts daughter welcomed us at the bus stop and took us to the apartment. She gave us practical info on the way and was very friendly. As a welcome gift they gave us wine, ham and cheese. I was also given chocolate because of my birthday a few days earlier. The view from the apartment is fantastic, you can see all of the village from your bedroom window. The bed is great and seems to be quite new, good sleeping comfort and space for two persons. There is peace and quiet around the apartment and a nice terrace. It is also great that there is clothes lines if you need to do some laundry. The surroundings around the apartment and in the village is truly charming. Lots of old stone houses and with stairs everywhere. There is so many charming streets. I think this is the most unique and memorable place I have visited in Croatia. Our host was truly amazing and she did everything she could to make us feel welcome. Her granddaughter was there and she helped us with the communucation. A very nice family.

There is a few things that could be improved when it comes to the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom. The washcloth and sponges in the kitchen were not clean and the area around the sink was greasy. In the bathroom the walls were not particulary clean and there were spots in the toilet from previous users. The shower had old soap grime on the bottom of the doors and appeared to not have been washed in a while.
