Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge

Peaceful stay. Host was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable. Nice shared space. Nice restaurants nearby.

nothing, it was perfect!

Great location, nice room with views. Breakfast was good. Anna made our stay even more pleasurable, she was very informative telling us about some hidden gems to go to while in the area. We went and were blown away. Thank you Anna! Would stay again (px was from one of her suggestions).

Nothing, it was all good

It was very cozy. we came in the rain and it felt like we had a warm home to come back to. The views from the room was amazing. There where nice places to sit comfortably and talk. The hot tub outside was excellent and we enjoyed our time together in it. There was a full kitchen equipped with a stove and utensils so we could cook dinner and breakfast together comfortably. We had others staying with us and everyone was very respectful relaxed and friendly which enhanced the experience as well. It was in a good location so the drive was pleasant and not intimidating. We definitely recommend and was one of our most memorable and funnest nights in iceland.

Very pretty location out of the way and quiet.

We were greeted by the hostess and was asked immediately for payment. No chance to bring our luggage in or feel welcomed. The room was very small. The pillows were flat and offered no padding. The windows had to remain closed due to a mosquito problem and was very stuffy. While I understand the need for rules, signs all over the walls was a little off putting. The breakfast was made for meat lovers, only one kind of fruit and no hot item despite a full house . We were booked for 2 nights but left after the first one as no one slept much at all. Given the price point, seemed a little pricey for what is offered.
