Lina supplied perfect instructions for getting to and into the apartment. Once inside we were pleased with the size and comfort levels of it. So much sleeping space and the beds we used were excellent. Manteigas is such a lovely little mountain town and I highly recommend checking out Pao da Vila just down the street for excellent coffee, breads & pastries. For an adventurous drive, check out the town of Loriga (not for nervous drivers) the views are breathtaking. We are from British Columbia, Canada sonits hardvto impress us with mountain views, but this is worth it. in Loriga, they have a knitting factory with an outlet there for bargain sweaters (ask in town for directions and then go upstairs and ask to see the showroom). But back on to House Butters...We highly recommend this apartment - excellent value in the heart of a wonderful mountain village.

we had a nice time in Manteigas. The house is well equipped and the surrounding is beautiful, with a lot of hikes to do. the host was super helpful, she supported us whenever we needed something.

The home is lovely, conveniently located, and well supplied. The bathrooms were good size with lots of room for personal belongings, which doesn’t happen very often.
Sandra, the housekeeper, was very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely return.
Lina’s communication was responsive and timely.

Somos 7 amigos com um hobby comum, a fotografia !
Fomos no fim de semana de 11 a 13 de Novembro fotografar as cores de Outono da Serra da Estrela.
Ficamos alojados na " Casa de Manteigas " Foi uma experiência bem positiva.
Para além das lindíssimas fotos que trazemos das Faias, encontramos um local bem acolhedor. A casa tem uma localização excelente, mesmo no centro de Manteigas, é um apartamento duplex com uma sala grande e confortável, os quartos são excelentes, a cozinha tem boas condições e está equipada com todos os utensílios necessários. Duas casas de banho com boa limpeza. Gostámos da decoração, simples mas muito agradável, aquecimento bem adequado para nos fazer sentir bem confortáveis.
Melhor ainda foi, o acolhimento, a simpatia, e a disponibilidade demonstradas pela proprietária e pela sua colaboradora que tudo fizeram para que a nossa estadia fosse excelente e para que tudo corresse bem.
Gostamos muito dos miminhos com que nos brindaram no dia da nossa chegada.
Muito obrigada por tudo. Vamos com certeza voltar!
