The property is very quiet, perfect for a break, with a dam teeming with life, birds abound. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet the host's dog and enjoy a sunrise with fog around the dam. The location is fantastic, with so many attractions nearby. Don't forget the balloon trips down the valley! Would have liked to spend more time there, but could not.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our tour of Victoria. Writing this just before we have to go home to the UK I can say without a doubt that Wombat Bend was the highlight. Sue and Bill have created a delightful oasis in the bush filled with an astounding array of wildlife. In particular the range of birds was out of this world. Their commitment to The Burrow shines out of everything they do. Sue was a great host who provided advice about places to go and lots of information about the wildlife. We'd thoroughly recommend staying here and would love to be able to return to this special place at some point.
