Villa-Toula

The place Aliona and Andreas have created is exceptional in many ways. It's simply beautiful, with lots of greenery and flowers, and plenty of places to sit and relax. There's a large swimming pool, loungers with umbrellas, a ping-pong table, clothes dryers, a barbecue, and several shaded areas where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch outdoors. The property consists of two buildings: a larger one with rental apartments and a cottage next door. We stayed in the cottage. The cottage consists of a large living room with a kitchen, a bedroom with a large, comfortable bed, and a bathroom. The house has two air conditioning units, each with its own control. The windows and doors to tarrace have mosquito nets. We had no complaints; everything was OK, clean, and tidy. The grounds around the house are well-maintained, and it's clear that the owners put a lot of effort into making it simply beautiful. We felt like at home. A huge advantage of the property is its location: quiet, peaceful neighborhood, a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to the town of Roda. Right at the beginning of the Roda village, you'll find a beach, restaurants, and a well-stocked Carrefour Express supermarket. Villa Toula is located roughly in the northern part of the island. The island's main attractions (Palaiokastritsa, Agios Georgios, Cape Drastis, Kassiopi, etc.) are a 30-minute drive away. We found this place by accident, at the last minute before our departure to Corfu. We weren't disappointed; it was wonderful. Aliona and Andreas, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Villa Toula is great!!! It's in a very quiet area, 15 minutes walk to Roda. Andreas was a very nice host, he did everything to make us feel comfortable. The garden and the pool is amazing, Andreas is taking good care of the them. Every two days he cleans the pool and he's watering the garden also. There are lots of shades in the garden with tables and chairs, good for a breakfast or dinner outside. Our appartment size was quite enough for a family (2 adults 2 kids) and there was an extra bed which we did not use. The kitchen is well equipped with basic things and has a kettle, a microwave owen, a small electric stove. Besides that just next to the house there is a washing machine which you can use anytime. We even had an iron and an ironing board, which came very handy as we travelled light. Air condition is good, we were at Corfu in a middle of a heatwave, but if we turned on the air condiditon, it could cool down the heat to a comfortable level.

Two minor things: 1. wifi is not very good (we were in the appartment 1 ground floor), you can get a better coverage around the pool. But hey, we were'nt here for the wifi :-) 2. you don't want to leave food out. There are lot's of very tiny ants (I've never seen so small ones before) and they coming out if you leave some foods on the table or in the sink. Not very disturbing, just have to be aware.

Andreas and Aliona are the perfect hosts. We are a family of 9, 3 adults and 6 children. We were greeted on arrival with peach’s, fresh bead, butter/jams and some wine. Andrea kindly took my husband and brother to the local supermarket to stock up on a few more essentials. The walk to Roda is 20/25 minutes, walking averagely. The apartments are private, clean and well equipped. The pool is immaculate. We had a super holiday. Also a thank you to Marrios, Andrea’s father, for all the communication before arrival.

Everything. The conditions were very good. Apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden with a new swimming-pool. The owners Aliona and Andreas were very helpful. It is a pity that we could stay not more than three weeks we had for our holidays.

- Nice location. - Nice swimming pool. - Two bedrooms. - The host waited for us until midnight and provided us with an electric kettle that was very appreciated.

- There was no garbage bin outside the apartment so there was no place where to put the garbage when the smaller garbage bin inside the apartment was full. - The nearby street was quite busy with traffic during the night. - We had to set up the crib by ourselves although it was ordered by e-mail before. - We were really unlucky about the other people staying in the other apartments. The elder people staying in there did plenty of comments about the way how we bring up our child and told us we bring it up in a bad way. Their audacity actually spoiled our holiday a lot. - The host did not respect hundred percent that we did not speak Russian and was not very keen on communicating in English. - The nearest beach was quite far from the appartment.

Wszystko mi się podobało, gospodarze byli bardzo mili. Teren działki, domek i basen bardzo zadbany. Lokalizacja była świetna. Niczego nam nie brakowało
