We hebben echt GENOTEN. Een heerlijk groot zwembad, een super leuk appartement en heerlijke bedden. Het uitzicht was ook prachtig. We hebben een potje tafeltennis gedaan, je kunt er eventueel BBQ'en en je mag ook gebruik maken van de wasmachine. Super aardige mensen van wie het huis is en ze zijn heel behulpzaam als je vragen hebt over leuke restaurants, hoe je beste naar Florence kan (met de auto 35 minuten) waar je boodschappen kunt doen, leuke marktjes etc. We hebben hier een heerlijke paar dagen gehad als laatste stop voor onze terugreis naar Nederland.
Misschien alleen dat je zonder auto er niet echt komt?

We stayed at Il Girasole (Sunflower). We had a wonderful time. The fairly large pool is highly recommended; it's clean and has lovely warm water. The veranda offered plenty of shade, which is essential in July. The double bed is large with comfortable mattresses. Plenty of privacy. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, very hospitable and helpful, and any questions were answered very quickly. Highly recommended!

Wir fühlten uns sofort bei Ankunft sehr willkommen, die Gastgeber Enza und Paulo sind immer erreichbar und sehr bemüht, den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm, wie möglich zu machen. Enza spricht perfekt englisch, so dass die Kommunikation sehr einfach ist.
I Gelsi liegt ruhig etwas abseits, es sind aber nur 10 min Fahrzeit bis in den nächsten größeren Ort Filgline Valdarno, wo es jede Menge Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt und ein nettes mittelalterliches Zentrum. Die Fahrzeit in die Innenstadt von Florenz beträgt nur etwa 3/4 Stunde.
Der Pool ist schön groß und die ganze Anlage bietet reichlich Platz. Da es nur maximal 5 Appartments gibt ist es eine ruhige, angenehme Gemeinschaft. Das Wifi funktioniert einwandfrei.
Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen!
Der Weg zum Haus ist teilweise unbefestigt und nicht ideal für Fahrzeuge mit wenig Bodenfreiheit.
Es empfiehlt sich Mückenschutz mitzunehmen.
