Oasis Azolimnos

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional hotel in Azolimnos. Perched on a gentle hillside, it offers a beautiful view of the sea and the bay, making it a peaceful place to relax. The location is excellent: just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, restaurants, cafés, and everything you might need. The bus stop is also about a 5-minute walk away, making it very easy to explore Syros or reach Ermoupoli in only 10–15 minutes. The room is simple and a little old-fashioned, but clean, comfortable, and in keeping with the traditional character of the property. What truly makes the difference is the owner, who is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything. There is a short uphill walk to reach the hotel, but if you have a car or scooter, there is a large and convenient parking area. Overall, this is a lovely, simple, and authentic place to stay. If you’re looking for genuine Greek hospitality, a quiet atmosphere, and a fantastic sea view, it’s an excellent choice.

Ανετο δωμάτιο για 4μελη παρέα! Εχει ψυγείο, μικρή κουζίνα με όλα, δεν μας έλειψε τίποτα! Οι οικοδεσπότες πολύ καλοί, ευγενικοί, εξυπηρετικοί. Η τοποθεσία όνειρο! Είχαμε πολλές επιλογές στον εξωτερικό χώρο για να πάρουμε το πρωινό μας το πρωι, να πιούμε την μπύρα μας το βράδυ με το φεγγάρι να μας χαμογελά ή απλά να απολαύσουμε την θέα διότι όπου και να καθόμασταν, η θαλασσα ηταν μπροστά μας, υπέροχη, άγρια, όμορφη!

Θέλει κάποιες επιδιορθώσεις στο δωμάτιο γενικά, το αιρκοντίσιον δεν λειτουργούσε κι αν δεν είχε τον αέρα τις μέρες που ήμασταν εκεί, θα είχαμε πρόβλημα.

Great views of the bay and a short walk to the beach and restaurants (only 1 was open but it's November so definitely off peak). I saw many people swimming so if that's something you want to do this hotel puts you near the water. The room was spacious and equipped for cooking were one so inclined. The owner is very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a quiet place away from the port area (about 10€ and 10 minutes by taxi) this place is a great choice. I'd stay here again were I to visit Syros.

Not much to dislike. The bed was a little hard.

Location second to none, no breakfast.

The lack of maintenance and broken facilities.
