De Beemster | Holiday park near Amsterdam

Great cabin, nice kitchen facilities - but need oven mitts! Bathroom, needs improved ventilation. Our bathroom toilet was a little mouldy, upon our arrival. Also, the flushing system needed to have your maintenance team called in, as it was temperamental when flushing. A mop in the bathroom, would be useful. Mattress was okay, but not so comfortable for multiple nights. So it would be beneficial for your team to maybe invest in better mattress replacements. Overall, for our 2nd stay at Beemster, - we love the atmosphere, animals, and general location. The cabin is welcoming, with an excellent large fridge, and excellent kitchen, wash machine facilities - this is great! We were met again by the friendly spiders, complete with avoiding the mosquitos...but really appreciate the great staff, comfortable cabin, and love staying at Beemster. We would definitely recommend this vacation park, to our loved ones. We shall anticipate staying at Beemster, for our future visits. Hartelyk bedankt!

Nothing, it was good. ...just upgrade the mattresses, and provide a mop so that I can keep the floor dry. Also, provide oven mitts for safe removal of food.

Calm n quite place. Very nice location.

In summer, there’s no such facility fan or air conditioning .

-Nice surroundings -Easy check-in and check-out (also possible outside reception hours) -Nice outside pool -parking next to the accommodation

-I booked 2 Pavilions (cottages) and asked during the booking to have them next to each other. The owner didn’t get this from Booking and we were accommodated far from each other… -there were no nets in the windows, mosquitos eat us alive - the cottage got very hot during sunny days (over 30deg), no AC available -the terrace close to the water level was rotten-dangerous -we ordered betting extra, towels were not included (my mistake) -no equipment like soap, coffee filters present

The property had a variety of services (pool, petting farm, indoor pool, restaurant, laundromat, etc). The security measures were also very good and it was easy.

There were no cooling measures and we happened to be there during a heat wave (not even fans, we didnʻt inquire at reception). Also, we thought we should be able to access the facility at any time with a key card not only during limited time windows. In one unit the freezer didnt shut properly and there was broken glass under the couch.
