Fabuleuse Villa Keur Bibou

Nous avons adoré l’hébergémement qui se trouve sur une île juste génial . Les locaux sont tellement attachant . La villa correspond à ce qui est proposé sur booking . En réalité c’est un véritable musée pour les fans d’art vous vous sentirez comblé . Michel est un mec génial et son équipe est fantastique. Mention spéciale pour François qui a été un véritable coup de cœur . Il a fait tout son possible pour rendre notre séjour au top . De même pour fraise et manchaf et la dame de maison .

Nous avons passé un weekend dans un cadre exceptionnel sur l'île de Ngor dans cette villa avec piscine privée. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil dès la plage de Ngor et la traversée vers l'île sur un zodiac réservé pour nous. Le personnel de la villa est très avenant et à l'écoute de tous nos besoins.

Words can’t adequately describe how wonderfully warmly we were received at Villa Keur Bibou. A beautiful house filled with tribal art and curiosities, a private boat to ferry you back and forth whenever you desire, expert local knowledge at your fingertips, a ride from the airport, all this organised without charge or fuss. Not to mention the surprise jacuzzi and aperitif, the warm and lovely staff who think of everything, are always nearby when you need them and completely invisible otherwise, and should you be lucky enough to meet Michel himself, well he’ll make you feel like you’re a visiting dignitary. I’ve travelled extensively, both with and without my family, and cannot recommend a stay here highly enough. They really care that you are comfortable, have everything you need or could want, and bend over backwards to make your stay perfect. 12 out of 10. Also worth mentioning that if you’re new to Dakar or Senegal the Île de Ngor is a great place to begin your stay. Removed from the hustle and bustle it packs in a lot of interest for its small size.

Beautiful gardens and nice internal decor. Good location on island, with some great local bar-restaurants a short walk away. Nice pool. Local staff were also very nice.

Nowhere to lie and relax by pool as no space for any loungers. House was extraordinarily hot. No fans downstairs, and fans and air-con cuts out when generator switched off between 0300-0900. Wi-Fi not good and constantly cutting out. The boat to and from the mainland can be a hassle, it’s not a private boat as claimed and many times the boatmen still try to get money off you. Landlord made lame excuses about property not being available for the first night of our booking despite us having paid in full, we had to stay elsewhere. When we arrived at the property on day 2, there were guests still there that had been residing there the first night of our booking! Landlord also tried to deduct tax from our refund, which was subsequently paid in full. Also be aware of local trader camped outside front door as you will be engaged every time you leave or return to the house with the aim of getting you to buy as much as off him as possible!
