Albergo De Jean

Wir haben eine Nacht auf der Durchreise von Tirol nach Südfrankreich im Albergo de Jean übernachtet. Die Lage ist sehr idyllisch über dem Comersee. Beim Betreten des Albergo spiegelt die Bar einem regelrecht entgegen. Auch der angrenzende Speisesaal ist sehr einladend. Wir haben uns für ein Tris di Lago, ein Risotto di pesce und pizzochieri alla Valtellina entschieden. Es war ein Gaumengenuss. Dazu den Hauswein und zum Abschluss kamen wir einfach nicht an der Bar vorbei, ohne noch einen Negroni zu geniessen. Nicht zu vergessen, der freundliche Empfang und das gute Frühstück. Preis/Leistung sehr gut und eine aussergewöhiche Sauberkeit im ganzen Hotel. Wir kommen wieder🤗

The staff and the food and cleanliness and price.

No air conditioning and driving on the windy roads to get there. Also, nothing around hotel to do without driving down the mountain.

We booked this last minute and hadn't realised how remote it is - its a few Km up a small road above the lake in a small village, ideal for walkers or mountain bikers. The staff were very friendly and helpful, when I asked about gluten free food at dinner they had nothing specific on the menu, but the chef understood my needs and gave me some options and the food was amazing. We ate there both days we stayed and next day they had got in some extra GF ingredients. There was a lovely local atmosphere, and we felt very welcome and enjoyed sitting outside with a drink in the evening. The views of the lake were incredible from the hotel and it was always spotlessly clean. It was also superb value, next time we travel around here we'll stay here again

Id struggle to find a problem. No air con in the room? There are big windows. Parking was on street? Its a tiny and quiet village

Very clean room, comfortable bed. Could find parking on the road.

It was very very noisy, could hear any steps and slapping doors of the other rooms. The doors and walls are not soundproof at all and could not sleep well.
