Located far inside Jiufen, at the end of the road. Very quiet. It's like living among the locals. The building we were staying in had a cold, warm & hot water dispenser. The owner was proactive in upgrading us to a bigger room when the building infrastructure had problems.
On our first night, there was no running water. For around 12 hours, we couldn't wash, drink or shower. To the owner's credit, there was nothing they could do & we were given a bigger room in a different building for the inconvenience. But communication could be better, & solutions could've been a bit more prompt as the water issues began around 8pm & lasted well into the next morning without any resolution or news.
