We had a wonderful stay. The host was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive. She stopped by several times to bring us oil and fresh produce from her farm—a thoughtful gesture that made us feel genuinely cared for—and she was always available whenever we needed anything. The location is very convenient: slightly removed from the main road and within easy walking distance of an accessible rocky swimming spot. As is typical of Pantelleria, there are no sandy beaches, but the sea is beautiful and very close by.
The only drawbacks were the view of one of the island’s largest hotels and the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Overall, however, the warmth of our host and the convenient location made this a very enjoyable stay.
