Good place to stay with nice views of the sea Great if you want to climb mt olympus as its close by about 10 minutes from the town centre and beggining fo the trail. The owner is really nice and helpful aswell

Only downside is when you take a shower the bathroom stays wet so if you want to go to the toilet you have to wear shoes to not get your feet wet

Perfect price, ok stay for a night.

The bed linens and towels were quite nice and clean. The room had everything we might need for a single night and even more. Parking was quite nice.

The pillows were very thin. It was a bit noisy during the night. The beds were really uncomfortable. A mosquito net on the door or window would be very nice especially during a hot summer night.

Nice, spacious apartment

Friendly and very accommodating staff. The apartment was very spacious and had a little kitchenette for basic cooking. The place was clean and well kept

There was no A/C, but there was a fan. This was not a problem for us, but it might be for some people so I'm mentioning it here. The pension is about 1 km from the town center, for us it was actually a nice (steep) walk but again some people might not like to walk so I'm bringing it up. One can obviously drive to town but the roads are steep and narrow in Litochoro, so you might want to park your car and walk anywhere if possible. The shower did not have a curtain so showering got a bit messy, not a big deal though.

Everything was on point, the view from the balcony is amazing. Owners and people working there were all helpful. They even kept our bags while were hiking for two days after our check out. Overall a pleasant experience.

Host very nice, beautiful garden and they did the best to keep it clean, view from the balcony to the sea is superb.

Unfortunately renovations could be in order, you can see “former glory” of this pension. I have nothing against this, but a little expensive for the conditions.

good place at the edge of upper town

The host speaks perfect English. The room has great views, has a kitchen, and quiet, clean. There are plenty of free parking spaces just outside the door.

If you do not want to walk and climb, you might want to drive down to town center and back, as the pension is at almost the highest location on edge of the town. The driving through town is easy and parking in the center at the street for free is easy, since there are not many people at this season.

You will need a mop for the bathroom floor.

Little balcony out the front and a place to sit by the door at the back. Quiet, because away from town. We found that google maps didn’t take us there.

The bathroom shower was not in a shower base and had no curtain at all. The only drainage was in front of the toilet so that water from the shower flows across the bathroom floor and all the floor is wet. See photo of shower. There was no tea towel for drying dishes or sink plug. Single mismatched cup/ mug, no breakfast bowls, no sharp knives, no chopping board, no kettle etc Mattress and pillows too firm for comfort. Ground floor has no view. 40 euro was expensive for the facilities available.

Disappointing

The pension is run down and poorly maintained. The kitchen is spartanly equipped. We were there during a period in April with an average outside temperature of less than 10C and colder nights, but it was not possible to regulate the heat in the apartment. It is the host who turns the heat on and off at his discretion. If you are looking for cheap accommodation in the summer period and are more outside than inside, this is a good offer, but in the off-season there are few facilities here and they do not live up to normal standards.

The view was amazing. We had a room with sea view and i guess it was the only plus of the location

It was very cold. The heating didn't work at all and it wasn't any hot water. The wi-fi wasn't very good because we were in the upper part of the house . Maybe it is an ok location for summer when it is hot but for other seasons i don't recomend. We left early in the morning because outside was warmer

Amazing view from the balcony it was a cute really nice place to call home for 3 days. A decent amount of kitchen wear and a a little stove top to cook on. Ecerything was clean

The property is a bit far from the main town (about 10min walk downhill, 15min back up) usually this wouldn’t matter but after climbing Mt Olympus and barely being able to walk this was a bit of an issue for us to get food. Theres a small supermarket 100m away if you want to cook. Only other issue was the bed, it was super uncomfortable springs digging into us all night and very thin pillows made it hard to sleep, definitely just needs a mattress replacement and some new pillows and it would be perfect!

The apartment was comfortable, clean, the view from the balcony was amazing, there is beautiful outdoor garden. Hiking trail starts nearby, otherwise it is a nice, 6-10 minute walk to the town.

Some kitchenware would have been nice, as there is a kitchenette but very few stuff to cook and to eat from.
