Beautiful location - couldn't really ask for a better view of Chimborazo. Staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable - great shower (pressure and temperature), which I know is rare in rural areas of Ecuador. Food was good - in fact I felt like I was given *too much* food for breakfast.

I was quite disappointed to find that despite it being advertised that "Dinner is included" in the price, this does not include any drinks at all. I would expect at least a glass of water with dinner and not have to pay for a bottle. It was a shame there were no water refill facilities (as far as I could see) which is fairly common in most hotels and hostels in Ecuador, meaning excessive plastic waste with bottled water. The pillow on my bed was so thin that it basically felt like there was no pillow.
