Danae Villas

The Vila was great with all it's facilities. The host Victor was welcoming us and very nice guy.

The wifi in the tv at the rooms was very week and could not load simple Youtube. Downstairs at the TV it was ok.

The villa is in the perfect location. Yes, it's at the top of quite a steep hill, but we're all fit and able, and so the hill wasn't an issue for us. The location is very central to the restaurant, bars and shops etc. The villa itself is really spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The pool area is fantastic and my son and husband really enjoyed playing pool and table tennis. George gave us a very friendly welcome at the villa, despite the extremely late arrival. We were very grateful for the supplies that had been left for us (especially as we arrived in the early hours when none of the shops were open) - this was very thoughtful. Water, bread, ham and cheese, coffee etc - it was really lovely to arrive so late, and to have access to such necessities. Communication with the host was great - messages were responded to very quickly. We will definitely stay here again, next time we visit Koutouloufari. Thank you for your hospitality and help with transfers. We had a great holiday.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the villa. We found the mattresses a little hard, but that's just personal preference.

These villas are located at the top of hill on a side street that is around a 5 minute walk (albeit uphill, but it wasn't a problem) from the beautiful village of Koutouloufari, we stayed in the yellow villa, the amenities were as described and kept in excellent working order, the fact that there is a washing machine / dishwasher / cooker / fridge-freezer etc, it really is like a home away from home, except I don't have a swimming pool / pool table or ping-pong table in my garden with a stunning view of the Cretan sea! I seriously cannot reccomend these villas enough, this is the only place we have stayed as a family and would defnitely return to! The team that run the villas are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is any trouble for them, so if you are looking for a villa in a beautiful Greek village that has plenty of restaurants and local tavernas to last you at least 2 weeks then I would not hesitate in booking this Villa.

Nothing.... everything was excellent!

We advised of our expected arrival time. George met us at the property and gave us the tour and explained how everything worked. The villa is spacious, clean and modern. The views are spectacular. It was great being able to get up in the morning stroll around the pool have a coffee outdoors then get ready to do whatever we planned for the day. The stroll into Koutalafari is about 3-5 minutes, where, if you don't know the area is full of traditional tavernas. The villa is quiet so that you aren't disturbed by noise or traffic. The sunsets are amazing and if you can get up early the sunrise is just as good.
