Lovely hotel and staff for a stay

Very welcoming man in the reception who explained about the hotel. Great arrival to a new place. The hotel had a wonderful toy dog by the reception - so cute. As it was December the hotel was nicely decorated with Christmas decor. The shop connected to the hotel had many nice items. The room was great and we enjoyed our stay there. We also had a nice dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Free parking just outside the hotel.

More parking by the hotel would be great. Parking can be done along the road, but in between it’s a busy road and doesn’t feel so safe.

Perfect base to explore the Kusttram route along the Belgian coast

Very nice room, plenty of parking and in a great location to explore the Kusttram from De Panne station. We didn't have breakfast but did have dinner twice in the hotel's brasserie which was very good.

Restaurant was not open for dinner on Monday evening.

Great place.

I loved the shop right next to the reception area, great for gifts for those back home. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were big and well equipped. The dunes are literally behind the hotel and if you like a good walk to the beach go and visit them. 10/10 would recommend.

A great and comfortable place to stay where the client is important. We shall definitively return!

Our crossing from the UK was delayed and we arrived well after the reception had closed. However, within minutes someone was attending to us and gave us all the information we needed regarding the facilities. We were given a small tray as a welcome gift as well as a small ballotin of Leonidas chocolates. When checking out we were given a generous incentive (3 nights for the price of 2) to use on our next visit. Also, the lady in charge made us feel very, very welcomed and enquired about our well being, this despite having herself also lost a very close family member a couple of days previously. We admired her courage in ensuring her clients were fine.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. The only thing we would have preferred would have been to have a room tab for our meals in the hotel instead of having to pay the restaurant after each meal. From our point of view, it would have been more practical.

Various little things that wer're really appreciated. Comfortable bed, room with large clean windows, bathroom comfortable with a large shower,table chairs 2 tv's. Breakfast good for its price and friendly, efficient dining room staff. Easy free parking. A special thank you to the owner who took an interest in my wife who was not well on the last night.

I prefer the easy parking they have to offer here and then going to different places nearby via car. However if you prefer to pay to leave your car in a car park or garage then leave the hotel on foot then this might be a drawback for you.

Worth a visit, we'll be back

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Paid lovely attention to details. The room itself was great and true to the pictures. It had a roof top terrasse as well as a front terrasse, especially the kids corner was well appreciated before dinner. We would definitely return again.

Bathroom could have foreseen a different shower organisation (was only a bath tub).
