Klimat tego miejsca trzeba poczuć, sam opis może nie oddać głębi. Po przejściu za bramę spotykał mnie całkiem inny świat. Cisza, spokój, wolno chodzące zwierzęta i przyjaźni właściciele.
Pyszne, ekologiczne jedzenie, wystrój apartamentu nie do podrobienia, urządzony bardzo gustownie.

Dwór Barocco to miejsce jedyne w swoim rodzaju. Z jednej strony na końcu świata, gdzie w rozległym ogrodzie, w ciszy przerywanej pianiem koguta i brzęczeniem owadów, łatwo się oderwać od codziennego zabiegania i naprawdę odpocząć, z drugiej - świetna baza wypadowa, jeśli ktoś ma ochotę zwiedzać (Reszel, Kętrzyn, Święta Lipka) albo odpocząć nad wodą (Jez. Kętrzyńskie) czy łowiąc ryby (Jez. Wyrbel). Czyli dla każdego coś miłego - zwiedzanie, spacery, wypoczynek.
Na miejscu można zjeść śniadanie i obiadokolacje, tak po domowemu, w prawdziwie rodzinnej atmosferze - przy wspólnym stole, do syta, z warzywami z ogródka i chlebem pieczonym przez Gospodynię. Dzięki wyjątkowemu klimatowi tego miejsca, dzięki Dorocie i Markowi, czułam się, jakbym przyjechała z wizytą do bliskich znajomych, a nie do pensjonatu 😊

Radagast with his wife have prepared a place to stay, which takes you back many years in the past. There are two appartments, lavishly decorated with mostly Belgian antiques (furniture and paintings) from Antwerp. You will find similar decor in the bathroom or cuisine. The whole setting triggers a time machine which brings you to another epoch: you are living in an aristocratic house of hayday.
You step out of an appartment and Radagast takes over: it is literally raining cats and dogs, many of which want your attention. The alarm clock is the cock, which you cannot switch off or set to another time. Hens, ducks, peacocks/peafowls (two hatched on our watch). Storks cluttering in the nearby nest. Luna (a 6-years old Vietnamese pig) accopanied us during breakfasts, lying under the Putin-size table. The dining room is Eastern style with furniture coming from Belarus and Russia. The food is true bio (meaning no herbicides), including cow-to-glass milk every (other) morning.
There are tables and sunbeds you can use, a mini playground for kids, a place for a grill/barbecue, a sauna and even a fitness room.
Further afield you have fields, forests, bucketloads of Teutonic Knights' castles, churches/basilicas (organ music show with moving figures in Swieta Lipka is 10 minutes by car), kayaking (the part between Nowy Most and Iznota is exceptional) and balooning (we used mazur-sky.pl family business).
Cérise sur le gateau, we have got honey and peacocks feathers as a gift.
Not that it disturbed us personally, but you have to be warned: no TV sets and a slow internet only in the dining room and around it.
