Toll waren:
- Die Wohnung: Ich hatte ein schönes, großes Zimmer (Whg #5) mit einer modernen Einbauküche und einem großzügigen Badezimmer. Der Balkon ist toll und die gesamte Wohnung bietet definitiv genug Platz für 1-2 Personen (und Hund).
- Ausstattung: Besonders praktisch fand ich die moderner und vollständige Küchenausstattung (Wasserkocher, Toaster, Eierkocher) und die großzügige Anzahl an Handtüchern.
- Organisation: Der Check-in war denkbar unkompliziert (Schlüssel steckte bereits), die Kommunikation vorab war sehr gut und die gesamte Abwicklung absolut problemlos.
- Lage: Top-Lage direkt im Zentrum von Virgen! Supermarkt, Restaurants und die Bushaltestelle sind in wenigen Schritten erreichbar, wie auch Wanderwege hoch in die Berge oder runter zum Fluss (sehr schön war der Weg der Sinne!).
Was man wissen sollte:
- Infrastruktur: Das Haus liegt direkt an der Straße. Das WLAN war leider recht instabil.
- Baustelle: Während unserer gesamten Woche gab es direkt gegenüber eine Großbaustelle. Von 8:00 bis 18:00 Uhr war es sehr laut. Da auch im Haus selbst gewerkelt wurde, war an ein gemütliches Sitzen auf dem Balkon oder offene Fenster leider nicht zu denken. Eine Vorab-Info hierzu wäre fair gewesen.
- Zahlung: Wichtig für Nachfolger – die Kosten müssen hier in bar beglichen werden!
Verbesserungsvorschläge:
Die Pfannen in der Küche müssten dringend ausgetauscht werden, da sie sehr zerkratzt sind. Auch in der Dusche gab es erste kleine Schimmelansätze, die man leicht beheben könnte.
Fazit: Eine schöne Basis für Wanderungen in Osttirol, wenn man tagsüber ohnehin unterwegs ist. Sobald die Baustelle fertig ist, sicher wieder ein sehr ruhiger und wunderschöner Rückzugsort!

The location is definitely good for hiking and outdoor activities.
No warm water for shower in the morning. The heating wasn't working which due to the cold temperatures and frost in the morning is rather unpleasant. There was no privacy, the box room which is supposedly be the bedroom for children didn't have any drapes and heating. The bunk bed had the ladder in the middle on some wooden piece so it was very unstable. The apartment was clean but the bathroom would need extra cleaning because of the mold in the shower and behind the toilet, the drain in the shower needs cleaning too because the water didn't flow down very well. You can hear literally everything through the walls and ceiling, every step and coughing...
