Lovely base for a 3 day city break

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is so nice! The location is great, a ten-minute walk from the train station, and Stare Miasto/Main sites are within a 10-15 minute walk. Great restaurants and Żabka are conveniently located nearby. Spacious and comfortable apartment. The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. It was really nice to have a washer. We had a little trouble with the front gate (it's sticky, you have to give it a good shove) and the door code on entry the first day, but the host was very friendly and responsive and it was quickly resolved with a quick phone call.

Some cleanliness issues could have been addressed; there was hair/sand on the couch and dining chairs, as well as a significant amount of mildew on the walls in the bathroom. We tried to keep the fan on, but otherwise, everything was great. Loud children on the floor above us, but what are you gonna do :)

I’ve been coming to Gdansk for 8 years. Easily the best apartment I stay in

The location right in the old town. Near to train station and restaurants I stay here once a month why choose anywhere else?

Only downside is no disabled access apartments are on the second floor so 2 flights of stairs to negotiate

Convenient, comfortable, spacious and well Equiped apartment right on edge of old town

It is spacious , quiet (overlooking the back not on the street) comfortable and well equiped. In an excellent loccation 5 minutes from the Station on the edge of the old Town. Clear instuctions given to access including key fob to enter without having to punch the code every time and WiFi good. Zabka next door!

It wasn't great

Great location, air conditioning, free WiFi, hot running water. The host was nice.

Not very clean. For example, we had to wash all the dishes before using them, the floor felt sticky, the radiator in the bathroom was covered in dust and we had to wipe it before we could hang the towels on it, the inside of the wardrobe was also dusty and had to be wiped before using. We weren't given enough towels initially, and we had to ask for more. The middle legs of the bed in the main bedroom kept folding, which meant that the two people who slept on it kept falling onto the middle of the bed, which wasn't comfortable. The ceiling light in the main bedroom did not work. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and not very clean. The mattress kept falling off it and was definitely very old because we could feel every spring.

Quiet neighborhood but close to everything

Very easy to contact with the apartment owner and get quick response. The owner kindly provides clear instruction for us to get the room keys and enter the apartment easily. The apartment is spacious and clean. Because this is an old apartment, we have to carry all of our luggage to the apartment without the possibility of taking the elevator. Very close to the city center and train station. We spent a day exploring Gdansk and the other day in Sopot and Malbork. Recommend this place.

Pleasant

Please note that the location near the train station might not be so comfortable because of the strange, like drunk people around. On the other hand, it was not far from main tourist places and streets. I was given a key by the owner (?) who lived in the same building. There were 2 towels, hairdryer, fridge and microwave, dishes. The free wi-fi was ok. Bed linen was fresh and clean, but looks a bit old.

The common feelings was that apartnent is not completely clean, with durty and dust. I understand a lot of dust because of open windows, but in the bathroom and kitchen my feeling was the same. Some of the dishes I used was not completely clean. The toilet brush was super dirty from raid or some dirt on it - looks terrible. When I used an electrical socket in the bathroom, it was not secure as it pulled away from the wall a little after use. The part of the bed creaked, but I slept alone on another side and did not touch it. Very importantly, the shower was awful! I think more than half of the water runs out because of a partly broken shower hose. It the result no water pressure, water runs in some not your need direction. No feet towel or rug. And note that there is no lift.

Spacious and complete apartment, good for a short and extended stays.

The apartment was very spacious and had everything needed, The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear. Several restaurants nearby, including a burger joint right across the street. Large and small markets within easy walking distance.

Great place to stay for a visit to Gdansk whether it be a weekend or slightly longer.

Central location on edge of main city. Easy access to central station/busses & trams, and to old town. Close to supermarkets for shopping. Plenty of room for two persons with most of what was needed to prepare own food/meal.

There could have been an additional pillow. Only one large pot for cooking, could have done with smaller milk pan size pot. Steps only to apartment so not for the less mobile.

The location, the cleanliness and the size. It was also nice and warm and the bathroom was lovely. The bed was so comfortable!

There was nothing we didn't like but it would have been nice to have more toilet paper and some tea, coffee, UHT milk and a bottle of water. Also more info on the closest supermarket, cash machines, banks and currency exchange.

The Apartment was spacious with all amenities, has AC room which was very comfortable in summer time.

The Apartment is located on 2nd floor without elevator. It is difficult to go up and down with stairs especially with old people. One of the sofa bed was not comfortable for sleeping.

Great value for money

Centrally located. Just a few minutes from the central train station, restaurants and the old town. The host was super nice and easy going. Eager to help and pass on information.

I think it's time to replace the mattress. It met its useful life. It's worn down and you can feel the coils of the mattress. Also, the room faces east and is very bright in the morning. The shades don't block the light. Bring an eye mask if you plan to sleep in and are sensitive to morning light.
