Wonderful spacious room. Comfy bed. We loved the seating area in the room to relax and the view over the property. Delicious breakfast buffet with home made pastries.

Lovely old house which has recently been renovated to a high standard. We had a spacious room, very comfortable & quiet. We ate both nights at the hotel & had a delicious simple meal each time of local produce. The host was very helpful & accommodating of our request for gluten free food. A good base to tour the area from

The hotel and location were excellent, nice quiet place. They did evening meals for us, there were few places nearby to eat and the meals were both very good. I would certainly recommend taking advantage of the meals offer. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and with large beds.
Part of the hotel was undergoing some decoration and items for this were left on the stairs and never moved during or stay. The garden could have been better looked after, shabby in places.

castle is only a castle on the outside. Bedroom decorum is average at best, with carpet cheaply laid out. Very pricey for what it is.
