Resort Vidmar - Apartments Vidmar near Bled

We liked the characterful architecture and pretty courtyard and balcony Lively view of mountains Easy to get to bled by bus or bike and we walked in an hour one day The locked bike shed where you could charge e bikes was essential for us The kitchen included an oven Good hot shower The owner was nice Air conditioning in the lounge Washing machine was useful I liked the church bells they gave it a nice atmosphere

Bedroom had no aircon It would have been good to have a drying rack

The small apartment had everything you need to make small snacks and breakfast. AC was enough to keep the place cool.The location was excellent for Lake Bled and surrounding attractions especially if you head out early in the morning.there was also enough variety of restaurants in Lesce with the added bonus of a mexican restaurant and bar right downstairs. There were supermarkets etc also nearby.

Rooms and location looks even better in person then in the photos. I was greeted by an extremely hospitable host who provided a parking space for my motorcycle inside the property behind a closed gate for me and was shown around the room and the premises, and invited for drinks afterwards. The apartment is located very close to Lake Bled (5 minute bike ride) but outside of the touristy congested are at the lake itself. It was clean, well equipped and quiet. My only regret is not staying for another day and trying out a restaurant that's a part of the same property. I didn't have breakfast either since I wanted to hit the road as early as possible. This is a PERFECT spot for a motorcycle rider touring Slovenia, very near to the highway (again, just a few minutes) if you want to fly in fast either from Austria (Austrian border is also just a few minutes away) or Croatia using the highway system. It's very close to the Vršić mountain pass and Villach Alpine road (AUS). p.s. A/C works, WiFi password was provided but I didn't try/use it. Thank you for the hospitality and I hope I have another chance to visit you guys again!

Convenient close to the train station and did have an aircon unit in living area

Felt uncomfortable checking in in the dark, lots of drinkers out nearby. Very outdated inside. Wouldn’t stay for a holiday location but necessary stopover it is fine.
