Does what it says on the tin - good value

Does what it says on the tin - this place is great value and very livable. Staff super friendly and the room was clean. Good locations, easy to walk into town and everything you want to get to. Free water dispenser provided and always someone on reception.

The beds aren't the most comfortable, same with the pillows. We booked two rooms and one of them was definitely better. One of the lights didn't work in the bathroom and there was no hot water. Also, I put the do not disturb sign on our room and the maids came in every day...

Not what was expected and not how it was pictured on website.

It was in a good location of central Oaxaca but the photos on the website were deceiving. I booked three rooms for 3 nights but we only stayed one night. The interior was old and becoming dilapidated. The bathroom fixtures were bad. The shower was yucky.

In disrepair and outdated; not quaint like the pictures made it look to be. One of my friends found a little critter in her bed. This ruined her sleep!

Didn’t do wat it was pact with the staff and got charge extra

Everything was clean and easy access

The day before they accepted my request for a early check in but when we arrive they didn’t have the rooms available and at the end they charge us 1,000 pesos to use some other rooms a couple of hours at the end we didn’t stay there because of that issue

Good stay in a good location

Great location, although it’s close to the centre it is not ideal for those who struggle walking up hills. Could not hear the road from our room, Wifi was fine, bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly

Mould in the shower. Due to the property being on a hill I do not recommend for those who might find themselves overstimulated the second they walk out the front door with loud vehicles hauling up the street most of the day.

We liked the location, it had a private bathroom and parking. It was a bit noisy since it was on a fairly busy road but was good value for pricing.

Too much like a hostel

The location was right across from the amphitheater steps. It was nice to get out for a walk. The breakfast was nice as were the staff.

This place reminded me a hostels of years past. It was definitely bare bones. The room smelled of some weird disinfectant, but when we opened the windows to air it out the noise from the road was awful. It was also cold but we had to ask to get a blanket and some towels. There was no hot water in the shower. The pictures on the web site show a much nicer place. But for one night it was ok. There are much nicer places to stay in.

It was a comfortable place to just rest at night if you will be out and about most of your trip.

I liked the location because its a 5 minute walk to the temple of Santo Domingo and the public transportation passes right out side which takes you to various places around the city for an inexpensive price.

I didn't like how the light of my room was very dim, my shower door would get stuck everytime I showered and the TV signal didn't connect in the three days therefor I couldn't watch anything on the tv.

Do NOT stay here!!!

The early check-in.

If there was the possibility to give ZERO, I would. Dirty rooms (long black hair everywhere) very noisy, people talking and chatting in the hall and floor until late (1:00 am). Our bathroom was not working (impossible to rinse in the shower, sink’s drain not working at all). I complained and they gave me a screwdriver to fix the problem - INSANE!! Also, only one of the lights in the bedroom was working. Then finally they understood (after my third complaint) and gave me a new room (without air conditioning even if my booking included air conditioning). The guy at the reception during night hours was very unpleasant and unhelpful. To complete this nightmare, after my stay they deleted my booking from booking.com saying that I did not show up (booking.com contacted me to understand this situation, I am still in communication to solve this problem). Unfortunately for this place I have proof of payment in my credit card bill, for Parador Crespo “Hotel”. RIDICOLI. This is not a hotel, this is actually a HOSTEL or even worse. How is it possible that this place 8 out of 10? La più INDECENTE accommodation of my life.

It was a really nice trip, even with the problems in the beginning, the staff turned it around for us.

The location, the view and the staff were incredible!!

When I arrived I got a room that was right next to the street, the night was one of my worsts ever. The road is one of the main ones so there are many many buses passing through all the time. The temperature was also an issue because the room didn’t have any air conditioner and there was no way to keep the window closed! Thankfully for the next night I asked for a different room and they were really kind and fast to give us a solution, after that the nights were great, and we also had air conditioner.
