Agriturismo Locanda Pantanello – absolutely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay here. The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of authentic Tuscan charm. The food is exceptional – fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The rooms are spotless and cozy. Francesca, the host, is truly amazing – warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We felt welcomed from the very first moment. We would definitely come back!

A nice farm stay run by a very nice local family.

The farm like experience makes this a unique stay just outside the old city of Pitigliano. The family who owns it makes it a special place to stay. We were able to pet or feed the horses and pick eggs just hatched by the chickens on property.

The shower was a bit small for our liking.

NICE PLACE IN TUSCANY

Nice and quit place, parking without problems, perfect location for trips, few minutes to Pitigliano, but you must use car. Breakfast excellent - we prefere continental as this one - cheese, ham, eggs etc.. Outdor pool with roof so water was not cold in the end of September. And during our stay perfect and helpfull service.

A wonderful stay at a superb Agrotourisimo.

Lovely place, great building and facilities, spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable bedroom, so friendly staff, especially Francesca and her parents, for whom nothing seemed too much to ask, outstanding superb food, different every night, with many great examples of Maremma cuisine. I can't praise this place enough.

Peaceful Country Living

Breakfast was family style with a choice of fresh jam, fruit, eggs, a variety of breads and delicious coffee! It was served on a lovely back porch with a background of birdsong. We also opted for dinner which was also wonderful. I highly recommend you do that, as well. The pool was refreshing, rooms and beds very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Beautiful Pitigliano was a short distance away. But best of all was the warm welcome from Francesca and her parents. Best place ever!

wonderful place to stay - friendly welcoming hosts and delicious food

lovely oasis to spend a few days at ! Francesca and her parents were wonderful welcoming hosts . breakfast was a feast every morning and the dinner at night was exceptional - all local produce and delicious local wines . They produce their own olive oil which is delicious ! if we could have taken more home we would have ! highly recommend !

Enchanting getaway in comfort and style

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely fell in love with Pantanello. The rooms were cozy and unique, the perfect mix of comfort and charm! The grounds were beautiful and we loved watching the horses and sheep. If we had come later in the year, we would have definitely taken advantage of the pool — it was covered and useable in April, and looked very inviting! The family who runs the agriturismo was so lovely. My partner has dietary restrictions and they were able to accomodate his needs and give great suggestions for when we were in town. Speaking of food, the breakfast is wonderful (with jams and cakes of their own production and classic continental choices) and the dinner is divine. Our best meals during our stay were with Pantanello. If you’re in Maremma, you have to stay here! We spent the days hiking the vie cave and visiting archeological sites and the nights in quaint (but modern!) comfort.

Awesome stay - wish we were there longer than for a night!

We were greeted warmly and treated like old friends from the first steps in Locanda Pantanello. Even the family cat was happy to see us! The room, the staff, the owners, the estate and the food - everything was exceptional. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner freshly homecooked just for us.

Peaceful and family atmosphere. Owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. We arrived too late in the evening for a diner but homemade sandwiches and local wine have been waiting for us. Delicious breakfast one of the best I’ve ever eaten in Italy.

Wonderful agriturusmo in Pitigliano area run by a family. Very charming and quiet. Francesca was so helpful with suggestions for our brief stay. There is an option for a 4 course dinner on the property which at 35 Euro including all wine was not only outstanding value but so delicious and a highlight of our stay!

A quite place to relax

The hotel was very small and quite. We had a great time out during a trip through Italy. The landscape was beautiful and green, everything was just peaceful. We definitely liked the pool and that we were able to see where the vegetables and fruits were grown which we had for dinner and breakfast. Francesca who welcomed us at the hotel was very friendly and attentive. For dinner we had a four course menu cooked by her mother. We asked for a vegetarian menu which was not a problem at all.

The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the mattress because it was way too soft for us. But that’s a detail.
