A pleasant stay

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant throughout our stay, Room was basic but had what you needed, a clean bed, a clean bathroom, clothes closet, TV and hospitality tray. Breakfast was freshly cooked and came out hot, I changed my egg type and this was carried out for me throughout our stay, we was also asked on a morning if we needed anything for our room. Location is ideal , just situated below the central pier on the Promenade

Great location within walking distance of the main attractions.

When we arrived we were put into a very very small room which only just fitted 2 single beds and was nothing like the pictures. The next morning I asked the owner who was more than happy to move us.

Small OnePiece of bacon , one egg beans , ,hash brown. No choice for extras , but plenty of toast.

Quite a few things. After going there, we didn't get greeted by anyone At knock on the door and a guest had to let us in. Owner wasn't very chatty Told us we're in a downstairs room, but said that he had trouble with the hot water tap didn't fail to mention that the shower wasn't working. So we ended up moving rooms that meant we had to climb 3 flights of stairs bad idea when you are asthmatic, bad knees.my grandaughter 15 wasnt happy. Room was cold , so he had to give usa heater. This is unacceptable. Breakfast was at 9 till10, which consisted of bacon, beans, sausage and hashbrown..There wasnt any choice you got plenty of toast.though tea coffee cereal .. Average hotel , .very disappointing.

Property extremely run down and in need of refurbishment. We arrived at 20.10 due to delays with traffic etc and the managers attitude was not good. We telephoned to inform him although when we arrived it was like we had kept him up.

Friends weekend away

Rooms are a bit basic but are clean, warm & comfy .. Very friendly staff, would do anything for you.. Breakfast is all hot, freshly cooked, so nothing dried up.. There is plenty of coffee/tea & toast if you require more.

Outside does look like it could with face lift.. Unfortunately, it does not give a good first impression..

Friends weekend away

Very central to all attractions, staff were 1st class, breakfast was freshly cooked for you. Rooms might be small, but we're clean & beds very comfortable. Just what is needed as won't be spending much time in, as always out & about.

Outside, make it look run down!!! As they say, DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT COVER!!!!

Top 5 non chain hotel in BP

It's located near the central pier, so about 15 mins walk from town, or the pleasure beach! The room was basic but clean, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was good for £6! Compared to the many hotels I've stayed in in Blackpool, this is Top 5!

The rooms need updating, but they are clean and have everything you need, and it would be extremely expensive to update a hotel that size

We all had a lovely 2 night stay and would defo go back.

The location was perfect and central for everything, rooms were fab. Gentleman was friendly and helpful. Great wee stay!

The only issue we had was getting hot water for a shower, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold.

Tired, functional and lovely staff

Located on the prom not far from central pier, staff were friendly and the lady on breakfast was fast and efficient. Breakfast was cereal, fruit juice, toast and a cooked breakfast, 1 of everything. Paid £6 per person but you have to pay cash. The room was good enough for a bed over night. They accommodated our request for a ground floor so we could be with an older relative who is less able. There was a lift though didn't use it.

Opposite a bar so expect some noise, no parking space was available so we parked in the bingo car park on Rigby Road instead (free). Whole place needs an overhaul but was serviceable for our needs.

Breakfast was ok and location is good.

The hotel is quite run down. The room was basic with cracks on the walls and tiles. It did not match the photos in the advert. We were told the cash only bar would be open in the evening but was closed when we returned to the hotel at 10pm.

Lovely but needs improvement in some areas as stated

The location was great for my disabled children to access the beach and the breakfast was nice, the staff seemed nice and friendly

There was dust on the picture frames and some of the drawers had left over hair and dirt inside the stairs were a problem for my disabled children to mange sometimes , the building work outside disturbed sleep and there was a strange smell on the lower room floors and moving around the rooms was complicated due to there size

Had a leaky toilet and shower roof tiles and wall paper hanging off the walls and it smelled it made you feel dirty and for breakfast u got one sausage one egg one Potato scone and handful of beans and six bits off toast between 4 adults

It was in a very good location on the central promenade close to the central pier and close to all the amenities

We stayed for one night, the bathroom was very clean, during our stay there were no disturbances or noises (except for those from the street, since our window was opposite a bar but it's not the hotel's fault ) the breakfast they offer is very good for the price you pay. The staff was very nice, especially the girl who serves breakfast.

We paid for a double room to have more space since the hotel photo looks good, but unfortunately, it was nothing like the photo. The room and the hotel need a little attention, like removing the cobwebs, needs updating and the bed was a little old.

Great value hotel with a lovely warm host. Clean room and a great balcony in the bar for people watching! Positioned perfectly on the seafront close to the central pier. Lovely breakfast cooked well.
