Excellent accommodation

All compliments to this hotel and the Gruber family. Comfortable accommodation, spacious rooms, and friendly, professional staff. Good location. Breakfast is very good, but dinner is a true spectacle. If you stay at this hotel, be sure to include dinner — you won’t regret it. A special advantage is the possibility of using the saunas, excellent wellness area with a view of the ski slopes. Highly recommended.

A fridge in the room would be nice.

Great location and quiet since it's up the street on a slight hill. We were there in summer so it was a wonderful walk. Few good restaurants in the vicinity as well.

A perfect stay with exceptional service and world-class cuisine

We spent our vacation at Hotel Sonnenheim and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The accommodation was excellent, the service outstanding, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The rooms are cleaned daily, and everything is kept in perfect order. A special highlight of our experience was the food — truly top-notch! Every meal was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and presented at the highest level. It exceeded our expectations in every way and added so much to the overall experience. The owners are incredibly kind and always ready to answer any questions or help with anything you need. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We would gladly return and highly recommend Hotel Sonnenheim to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality holiday experience.

Breakfast and dinner wese realy good, spacious room, beautifull view of the mountains, steam cabin was superb

internal sauna is 75 degrees of celsius only, outside finnish sauna not working

Memorable and comfy stay

Very lovely hotel with quick access to the local highlights (thermal spa, ski lift, park, hiking and biking trails, several restaurants) in the area. Breakfast was amazing (dietary requirements were thoughtfully taken care of) and the room was absolutely clean and offered not only an above-average size but also the possibility to convert the window front into a terrace.

Due to its exposed location, I heard a lot of noise (local singing entertainment, street noise, garbage collection service) from my room, however this is something that the owners do not have influence on.

Nice hotel but don’t go here if you need good WiFi

Wifi is really bad. It often does not work and if it works it asks all the time for a username and password and is very slow, so gaming or Netflix is out of the question. It is also unencrypted so your internet connection can be hacked without a problem. If I were the hotel owner the first thing I would invest in is a good Wifi and internet connection. It would also have been great if the bathroom were larger, because the rooms are more than big enough for to make them larger. And no complaint but for the next visitors to be aware that you have to book half pension/half board in advance if you want it. The hotel may refuse you to have dinner if you did not book it in advance. Finally: a refrigerator in the rooms would have been nice yo keep some fruit or drinks.
