A beautiful house in a historic alpine hamlet for a holiday.
The location overlooks the mountain river and GR5 hiking route, in the historic hamlet Moulin. There are multiple beautiful hiking routes in Haute Tarantaise easily accessible. The property is a clever and functional renovation of a beautiful historic building so that you have comfort and all modern conveniences. The kitchen is remarkable, a giant refrigerator and all kitchen equipment necessary for self catering. The owner gives complete instructions for retrieving the key on site, and checks to be sure you get inside. He is available by phone or text for anything you need.

Be aware of you have to clean the room before checking out
The location is in a very quiet village with beautiful view,good for doing hiking or exploring the area
The room is quite complete with everything, but I didn’t notice if there is any information before booking that stated it does not provide bed linens and also towels. And when checked in there is a piece of paper saying the guest has to clean the room before leaving ( which I did) , but this is quite unusual for a country hotel as my experience. The other story is I seemed got a few bug bites from this place. Which Is quite unpleasant.

Nice and cosy place to stay
The house is really nice and big. We had everything and more that we needed. A very quiet place, woth a very nice view on the mountains. Very confortable beds, the living area bigand cosy
The stairs that lead to the upper bedroom are a little bit snall and for young kids is a little difficult to walk, but the stairs are fantastic! Well preserved

Kitchen equipment was somewhat basic (e.g. no cutting board or salad spinner). We were missing cleaning liquids for the floor.
