Namthip Homebeach

Ideal for what we booked it for. Just one night for the full moon party. We walked for about 45 minus up to the centre for awhile and got a taxi back. Later that evening we went around the corner to BeauBos for some drinks and she ordered a group of us a taxi for the full moon party @200 bhat a head.

Room was a little dark as a couple of the light bulbs need replacing and there were a few bugs here and there which is to be expected. Good value for money for the night!

Lovely stay right by the beach front. Room is great size and comfortable. Staff are super friendly and accommodating

Not much around apart from the 7/11 across the road. Location is a bit out of the way but has space to store a bike if needed

Comfortable room and good location. The outdoor area was really nice, especially the hammock. The staff were very lovely and helpful.

Something to note is that the beach is pretty shallow, so it’s not a great swimming beach.

Pros -Host was lovely and had free amenities in reception to help yourself too - host helped us organise taxi to pick us up - came with nice hammock and tea and coffee making facilities Cons - wasn't a bad stay, but also not a great one. We felt our money has got us a lot nicer on other places for what we paid - Bathroom is quite open to elements, there were a lot of flies/ ants/ mosquitos and even a lizard and spider at one point. - could probably do with a mosquito net as I woke up covered in ant and mosquito bites. - our AC broke and leaked onto our bags. We told reception and they said someone would come. We waited all day but no one came. The next day I asked and was told the guy was busy but we weren't told this and wasted a day waiting to show him what was broken - bed is quite uncomfy - location wasn't great we felt a bit far away from everything - we booked on the half moon weekend without realising. There was a club next door which was loud till late - dogs barking and howling late hours of the evening (can't be helped but something to note) -mooeds allowed to drive by rooms late hours of night which can be loud
