Used as a stop over on way tot he alps so arrived late and left early. Easy access without receptionist but staff in the morning nice and helpful.
Location meant that we couldn't walk into town (but that might be because we arrived late and couldn't see another wat in rather than along the road.

It was an interesting building and the information provided was good. Care had been taken to make it easy to recycle all materials and there were chickens in the garden. We had the whole building to ourselves as we were the only guests and used the self check in as reception closed at midday on our Sunday arrival day. The breakfast was good- a great touch to have a crèpe machine and ready mixed batter. Staff that appeared on Monday morning were very pleasant.
The outside was shabby and in need of a fair amount of TLC. If I was passing by I would not have chosen to stay there which would have been a pity! There was no lift and the triple room for us and our granddaughter was on the second floor with two double flights of stairs. Fortunately although 80+ we are pretty agile!

We had a disabled room it was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent plenty of rails and a seat if needed.
The staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and we weren't rushed.
