The location was amazing, it’s walkable to everything and I loved the charm and the layout, it was so quiet in our room and we couldn’t hear any street noise, because we were tucked behind the courtyard, it was lovely. The onsite bar/restaurant was also very convenient, and beautiful too! The staff was amazing and SO helpful, truly some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced.
The room was almost too quiet! We wish we’d brought our little portable fan for some ambient noise but we’d rather it be too quiet than too loud like some of our friends complained about who were staying at other hotels so honestly all in all no complaints!

Friendly and supportive reception. Historic feel. Excellent location. Unbelievable value.
Access can be a little hit and miss. Most/all hotels in Ecuador require you to buzz in, in order
to optimize security. Staff is not always at the desk.

Clean, nice atmosphere, felt safe and secure.
Creaky floors. Thin walls. Woken up a few times by others passing by room.
