Apartmenthaus Saxonia

Lovely, roomy apartment, well equipped with everything we needed, close to public transport,(which is free for those over 65!), and walking distance from the attractions of the Old Town.

Apartment WiFi was very hit & miss - mostly miss! And internet access in the Czech Republic was generally very poor for us, using Airalo e-sims. That was challenging as our Eurail Passes could not be accessed when the ticket inspectors on the train from Berlin came to check tickets. Fortunately there were no bad consequences (must happen frequently). The towels provided were rather small & scratchy, but the shower & generously sized bathroom were great. The only other minor problem was the clock needed a fresh battery. Otherwise, time stood still for us in Prague.

Great location opposite the national park tram. Spacious with great facilities.

Location, convenience, cleanliness

The windows need to be cleaned from outside and the cobwebs ve removed

Found difficult to access the apartment in beginning with unclear instructions about the key. A reception or a simple written instruction would greatly help. The apartment was clean but smelled like it wasn't aired enough. Good enough stay but look for better options.
