It was exceptionally beautiful and with a massive garden. The owner is Chinese and has built a Chinese pagoda and Koi Pond to add to the French style ‘manoir’. The big pool overlooks the river. The house is pretty old, but it really has its charm. We went outside of the touristic season so we had the whole castle to ourselves.
I would have liked the opportunity to buy more drinks and snacks during the day. We were unprepared to have no food at Open restaurants or shops around the manoir. The days were blistering hot and we could only ask for bottles of water when the owners were present. I guess this will be more elaborately serviced when there are more guests!
