An excellent apartment hotel from where to visit Corfu. Extremely helpful, friendly owners & staff.

What made my stay at Penelope Apartment Hotel so good was the staff. They were extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs, e.g. special arrangements for breakfast due to early starts because of diving excursions (the Sea World PADI 5* Career Development Centre is just a short 10 min walk from the Hotel). The airport transfers were excellent. Location is quiet, yet within walking distance of beach-side cafes and restaurants. The rooms spacious, clean, quiet, well equipped & well maintained - excellent for either a short or long stay. Wifi was reliable (18.9 Mbps download, 13.2Mbps upload). Poolside sunrise breakfast was wonderful.

10/10 would love visit again

I was bit afraid about the check-in due to late arrival (bit after midnight), but Nils - the owner, was really accomodating, he waited for us to pass the keys and gave some pointers regarding the island. The apartment itself had everything we needed to enjoy our holidays. Rooms were equipped with AC (which worked perfectly), every window had mosquito net, we also had basic appliances "just in case". The bathroom was spacious and we enjoyed early morning coffee on the balcony. Location is great if you're looking for a less crowded area, we've mostly travelled by car and it was a perfect base to explore the island. Everything was clean and well kept. Great value for money and perfect off-season getaway, in my opinion it's a way better option than overcrowded hotel in a bustling location, thank you! :)

Brilliant!

We are very satisfied with the stay - rooms are nicely sized, beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped. Balcony is huge and had a really nice sea view. Pool is brilliant and our son really enjoyed playing in the kids pool. Couple of nice restaurants are located at the walking distance. Communication was brilliant - kudos to Nils and the staff.

Spacious 2 bed apartment with 2 terrace. Big pool and lovely gardens. Friendly staff. The owner was kind enough to let us have a later checkout.

Breakfast choices a bit limited and repetitive. Pool bar shut early every day along with music so lacked any atmosphere after 3pm.

A great place to stay for our visit in Corfu. Close to multiple beaches and easy to get to other parts of the island. Beautiful views, great facilities and amazing people. Thanks Nils and co. We will definitely be back

Exceptional stay at Penelope

We loved the size of the appt, good sized balcony with stunning views and surrounded by nature, quiet and away from the busy road. We have stayed here many times for these reasons. Hotel has a central location on the island, near to great bus routes. It's also close to supermarkets and tavernas. We always have a good holiday when we stay at hotel Penelope, and Nils the manager has maintained the upkeep to a good standard. Finally we would like to thank Nils, for his kind hospitality on our final day, which allowed our journey back home to run smoothly. John and family

Very nice location with views over the hills and Dassia, a great apartment with a huge balcony and a nice garden. The whole apartment was roomy and overall well equipped, you can easily cook your own meal if you want to. The beds are comfortable (even the one in the living room, the sofa turns out as a single bed) Nils was very nice and helpful throughout our stay, he recommended some of the best restaurants and places to visit for a short stay like ours.

Very nice location! The hotel is conveniently built on top of a hill, very close to the main street, yet still far from the crowd and noises. Excellent view, either facing the sea or the surrounding hills.

Poor Wifi signal, at least in our room. Internet connection was often entirely lost.

Location of the property is ideal.Nils is a great host.The staff was polite and very helpful.The place was quiet,enough parking space.The swimming pool was good and the property was spacious enough with great sea-view.

Nice place to stay and relax

I came over the stay a couple of nights last minute. The manager/owner met me. In general the place is very pleasant, the room was actually an appartment with plenty of space, rooms were clean and I was generally satisfied. I would recommend. The manager or owner who I met was also a credit to the establishment.

I would suggest a larger carpark and also to upgrade the AC in the bedrooms to a quieter model like Mitsubishi or Panasonic. I would also suggest to sell a few conveniences as a second income for the hotel, ie bottled water/wine/beer/snacks for convenience but I guess thats down to licensing. Other than that, nothing major, I was happy and would recommend to stay again.

Nils was a great host and the apartments were better than I imagined. This really is a hidden gem in the hills of Dassia. There is a slight hill to walk up, but if you don't mind a walk then I would recommended staying here.

The bar closes at 2pm, this could have stayed open until maybe 4pm.

Very warm welcome from the owner. The hotel situated in a very nice area, with beautiful view of the sea in the distance and the green surrounding hills . Very comfy , ckean , wirh all the amenities. The poll and the bar was the perfect place to relax Highly recommended.

The stay in the appertment was as good as the website showed.

Very good first impression at arrrival, owner made the effort to fill in a special request, and a very warm welcome in the appartment with plenty of bottled water fresh fruits and a bottle of wine .

Location ( on a hill side) despite the wonderfull vieuws, could be a problem. A kind of own of transport is highly recommended.

Appartement spacieux, très propre et fonctionnel. Une vue magnifique avec un grand balcon ! Nils est adorable, de très bons conseils . Piscine très agréable. Proche de l arrêt du bus. Petite montée pour arriver à l hôtel mais ça ne nous a pas dérangé.

A wonderful place, incredibly atmospheric, and meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The grounds are beautifully arranged: plenty of lavender, other flowers, and plants that provide privacy and are a delight to the eye. The pool is practically for private use, and right next to it is a restaurant where you can have breakfast. We had a spacious apartment with all the amenities. Everything was very clean and comfortable, with cleaning service every other day. The location is secluded and quiet, with no crowds, yet still close to the nearby town. We used a car to visit the beach and other attractive spots.

Mukava henkilökunta. Siisti ja viihtyisä allasalue. Hyvä varustelu keittiössä, toast -grilli leiville oli mieluisa yllätys ja kovassa käytössä aamiaisella. Tilava huoneisto. Ilmainen parkkipaikka plussaa. Voisin tulla uudelleenkin.

Makuuhuoneen ilmastointilaite oli vanha ja tehoton. Onneksi olohuoneen laite viilensi hyvin.
